DR TCB, I saw Phantom in Vegas after Brent Barrett had already left.  I did get to see him in Follies in Chicago with DR Kevin H and DR Jose and thanks to DR Kevin H was fortunate enough to meet him after the show.  It was a wonderful time

I have a bootleg DVD of that production. For some reason, I haven't watched it yet.

Watched Spike Lee's 25th Hour again. This may be the fourth or fifth time I've seen the movie, which remains perhaps the most powerful look from a New Yorker at what it was like to be in New York after 9/11. It's only occasionally addressed in dialogue, but you see the workers clearing the debris at Ground Zero, you see the searchlights honoring the spots where the towers were, you see it in the reactions of the people to other people on the street.

I wonder what the gas prices are like.  I still have about a 1/4 tank but maybe I’ll mosey over to the petrol station tomorrow and fill ‘Er up

It seems about time even if you aren't planning a road trip.

I'm up, I'm up - nine hours of sleep.

How are you able to sleep so long?

I'm lucky if I can get 6 hours of sleep a night, and I take a sleeping pill.

I know, it is amazing.

You take a pill every night?   That doesn't sound good either.

George can I impose upon you (once again) for a disc of the one world concert ( I think that’s the name) only if it’s not too much trouble  :-* :-*

No problem. :)

So I ventured out to Fareway, my go to store.  I still have one or two N95 masks left from my woodworking. You're only supposed to wear them once and throw them away.  I've been wearing the same one to the store and then letting it sit for a week and wearing it again the next time I go to the store a week later for a few weeks.   I figure if the virus is on it, it should be dead by the time I re-wear it.    Anyway, I wore one today and was amazed at how few people were wearing masks.  Our numbers are going up up up and no one seems to care.   Luckily, the store wasn't too crowded and I was able to get the things I needed and things I thought I needed and things I really didn't need at all and get home.

Good thing then you have a mask that will hopefully protect you.  I am glad most people here are wearing masks to the markets.

I think that a lot of people have seen the protests on television, and assumed that the crisis was just about over.  I went to Fred Meyer’s today and maybe one out of ten (or even 15) customers were wearing masks today.

Well, in Studio City it's still 3.69 while in Sherman Oaks ONE station is 2.93.

Tumwater is still in the mid-$2.00 range.

I spoke to the appeals court clerk, I filed the correct papers, so I worried for naught

Great news!

Woo Hoo! My camera is arriving a day early.  Perfect.  It's strange to have it delivered to the house, I always send them to the office.  But I'm here, so I may as well have them sent here

I love it when that happens! ;D

I'd read that it would probably be challenged in the courts.

I received the call today that Nicky’s ashes are ready to be picked up. I can’t believe it.  Nick just died on Saturday.
