Today, I went to Eagan's and had my usual Deluxe Cheeseburger and was able to say hi to my friend Judy who works there. After that, I got gas at Costco. It was $2.19/gallon. We're not under $2.00, yet.

Well, last week, my library seemed to be gearing up for reopening. The new titles included books, movies and the usual mix of books on CD, music CDs and digital options. Not this week. There are two titles, only two, and both are digital downloads. So, I have to wait on placing a hold on the new Stephen King. Bummer.

Well, today I got an e-mail from work saying, "Thank you for your patience during this time. I know it is getting close to May 5th, which was the day we had slated for staff to return to work. At this time we are extending this date to May 18th."

That's not when the buildings will open to the public: "When curbside service begins (now slated for June 1), some libraries will remain closed."
