I never dreamed the show wasn’t live. BK pulled the wool right over these eyes.

I’ve never seen the Mrs. Stone movie. I will have to correct my ways - for Lotte Lenya, first and foremost.

It’s on my overburdened to-watch table. I will have to correct that myself.

There was supposedly a remake in 2003 of Roman Spring. Anybody have a clue?

Helen Mirren, Anne Bancroft and Brian Dennehy were in it.

Sorry TCB,  I apparently quoted the wrong comment.  It should have been this one by DR Chas:

"I never even heard of You’re a Big Boy Now, so I never ordered it from the Warner Archive. That will have to be rectified sometime, hopefully when there’s a good release."

The movie with Tony Bill was "You're a Big Boy Now".

The grocery store had only about a dozen patrons.  My brother, sister in law, and I were wearing masks and gloves....I would say about 1/3 of the folks there were.

A BIG FAT WOMAN pushed in front of me to get a cart.....then stood in the way while wiping down the handle with a wipe again and again.....then throwing it away .... and getting another wipe to do it again....

I met her in practically every aisle I went down.....with her cart in the MIDDLE of the aisle so no one could get around her in any direction.....

She was buying mostly what she had coupons for....but at least I did get to the checkout line before she did.

I found everything I wanted except for some beef stew flavor mix....but that's okay....

Yes, with Helen Mirren.  I liked it, but I prefer the subtleties and innuendos/euphemisms of the first one.

Thatch will never know the expressions of love, but I went up to the Petco on 92nd and Broadway to find that their website info was wrong; I purchased the last two bags of treats on Saturday.  So, I went back to 86th Street and took the crosstown bus to the East Side, and went to the Petco at 86th and Lexington.  There were six bags and I purchased five.  I am now home, and happy to have treats for my boy.

Our temps should be warming up and I am not looking forward to it, mostly because there will be more people out.  It was pleasantly cool this morning. I didn't need the coat I wore.

But the eBook versions of Simply were also waiting, so I'll get those up at Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

I had to run to the corner bodega and forgot my mask!  Will we ever get to the point where wearing one is second nature?

One of the PBS cooking shows yesterday was pushing the need to support your corner market, and that made me happy.
