Well, I need to get to sleep. I actually want to go to work for a bit in the late morning because last Thursday, I got a call asking for a reference for someone I worked with, but not at the library. I wasn't at work on Thursday and was going to call back on Friday, but the fates conspired against me, so I want to call today. I'm sure that it won't be too late for the person who used me as a reference...hopefully.

Today, I went in to work and got that phone number, and a couple of coworkers were actually there. We chatted and then we actually took a walk down a side street and enjoyed the outside...with acceptable distances between us, of course. I left and came home and then made the phone call. The guy asked his questions and I answered as best as I could remember. He had a couple of questions that I couldn't answer, but I think that I was complimentary enough.
I really hope my friend gets the job. It's mostly on-the-phone customer service for the state, so I think that it'll be a good job for him.
