Mom sent some photos I’d never seen before of me about 15 years ago. Big hair, big beard, big belly. And of course, a lot less gray. I don’t recognize myself.

And a question about something in your notes about The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone..."Lotte Lenya, appearing in only her second film (her first was thirty years later), is spectacular...." ???

 ;)

I don't know WHAT you're talking about.

SPOO!  I guess I was totally mistaken!

Since these good ol' Confederate and Nazi boys insist on showing us they behave like something out of the Dark Ages, I think their heads should be on pikes to warn off their confrčres.

Well, I need to get to sleep.  I actually want to go to work for a bit in the late morning because last Thursday, I got a call asking for a reference for someone I worked with, but not at the library.  I wasn't at work on Thursday and was going to call back on Friday, but the fates conspired against me, so I want to call today.  I'm sure that it won't be too late for the person who used me as a reference...hopefully.

Anyway, have a good day, all!

Today, I went in to work and got that phone number, and a couple of coworkers were actually there.  We chatted and then we actually took a walk down a side street and enjoyed the outside...with acceptable distances between us, of course.  I left and came home and then made the phone call.  The guy asked his questions and I answered as best as I could remember.  He had a couple of questions that I couldn't answer, but I think that I was complimentary enough. :) I really hope my friend gets the job.  It's mostly on-the-phone customer service for the state, so I think that it'll be a good job for him.

But the eBook versions of Simply were also waiting, so I'll get those up at Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

Cool!  I wish Sondheim's "Finishing the Hat" and "Look, I Made a Hat" were available in digital formats.

I searched that name and "white supremacist" and came up with nothing save for the comedian Rob Cantrell.  So, I'm distrustful that that's this guy's name.  And you know if it was his name it would be everywhere.

Aha, not Rob Cantrell - Rob Cantrall.  Someone should fix the meme because I'm gonna guess that the poor comic is getting harassed.

Are there recordings of either?

HERE is an interview with the composter on University of California Television (UCTV).  There are a few excerpts throughout the almost hour-long episode.  It was posted January 1, 2020.

I think this may be the source for assigning him a name.
