BK:

You know what would be great? A book of the music from FIRST NUDIE and CREATURE, like the one you did with the songs from WELCOME TO MY WORLD.

Damn, that would be great.   :)

That would be!

Tonight's feature is Beauties of the Night, a Rene Clair musical about a young, penniless composer who dreams of being rich and surrounded by beauties,, one of whom is a young Gina Lollobrigida.

That sounds like a G-rated version of The Butler's Song.

Danny Peary, author of the Cult Movies books, just wished us Happy Anniversary.  He loves the film and it's because he included us in volume two that we got such a huge cult.

That's pretty cool, BK!

Back from the drive.  Very warm for May.  Tomorrow: 100 degrees.

:o It's supposed to get down into the 40s overnight here.

So, today at my parents', my mom had a few projects for me to do for her.  One was to change the light bulbs in one of their garage door openers.  Both incandescent bulbs were burned out.  I replaced them with two brand new LED bulbs, but neither light bulb worked.  My mom found a working incandescent bulb and that worked, so evidently, LED bulbs don't work with that opener.  Very strange.  She'll now have to get some regular incandescent bulbs for it work.

There were a couple of other things that didn't quite work out either, so they'll be dealt with at another time.  We ate our tacos and had a chocolate cream pie AND a banana cream pie!  Both were Marie Callender's frozen pies and were very good.  We then played two games Phase 10 and I lost both. :P We started to play another game with their friend Mona, but I had to leave and go to my sister's before I could lose another game.

At my sister's, we had pizza and a Costco chocolate cake that was very rich and delish!  Then we just watched some TV for a couple of hours and chatted, and then I left, came home and now have read all of today's posts and birthday wishes!

Some sickos here in Washington are attending CoVid-19 parties.  People who are free from the virus go to parties with positive people to see whether or not they will catch the virus.

I think the local sportscasters have the easiest job during the pandemic.  They have nothing to cover.
