We are now grumpy.  Shopping is not fun these days.

Is it not possible for you to order and pick up your groceries?

Many stores in my area do not offer either curbside pick-up or delivery.

My first three years on Yelp, I was an Elite Yelper.  Then suddenly I wasn't and that was irritating and I stopped writing a lot of reviews.  But from January to now I've written a ton and they're really popular, apparently, so I was just made an Elite again. :)

My dentist reopened his office yesterday. Yay! I was scheduled for a cleaning and looking forward to it when Covid hit and he closed. The hygienist I see there is excellent, but books up months in advance. I was very pleased to get an appointment with her for yesterday. I'm sure many people are nervous about returning, but this office has always had the highest standards.

They wear masks and gloves making the risk theirs.  I am sure they clean well between patients.  Congrats on snagging the appointment.

Thanks. At this office they are wearing face shields over their masks, plus disposable gowns that are discarded after each patient. They've made a number of other changes also.

I forgot about the eyes which are normally protected.  Disposable gowns is a good idea.

The hygienist told me that her 82-year-old mother and nephew, who both live in Ecuador, came to visit for two weeks. Then Covid hit and the airport in Ecuador was closed. Her mother and nephew can't go home until the end of May. From two weeks to almost three months!

Wow.

Back from the drive.  Only watched half a movie.  The rest of the day and evening was spent dealing with this group number - it's fascinating and not.

Oh, no!  Hopefully, there won't be any trouble when they're finally able to leave!

That said, why are we still on page five.  If you want to be an HHW Elite, we really must turn the damn page.

The host (don't know who he is) said that they interviewed people who were still around when it went up and when it came down.

Even though it's from a TV channel, I'm going to leave the commercials in because, even though I remove them when I make new DVDs from current TV programs, it's fun to see them when I make DVDs of VHS tapes from years ago.
