Friday Media Check... Well...  I've been playing stuff I imported into iTunes....

However, I think I may actually get to the Bollywood movie that DR MBarnum sent me last summer.  I was able to schedule a massage for 1:00 tomorrow afternoon(!!!!), and I believe I shall watch the movie whilst I relax post-massage until I have to get ready for the show.  So....

-Film at 11:00...  Or not... Hmm... me getting a massage....

I tried to play "The Woman In White" again today. I really don't give up easily.  It is still very much "letters home" from "Tell Me On A Sunday", flavoured with Aspects of aspects.  I'll take "Bounce" any time.

Thanks to a post from DR George yesterday, I have also revisited "Zorba" today.

Last night's viewing (did not finish it) was "Tintypes" which really was a disappointment.

Next up maybe a NW production of "Scrooge". I shall be looking for audience members Jed & Ann as well as that guy playing the lead role.  

DR OzDerek went to "Mama Mia" last night but did not see Jose at all. Perhaps Melbourne is not in Indiana.

Finally caught up with yesterday's posts. Currently on the computer, I am listening to Brigadoon. What Dreams May Come is in the DVD player downstairs. A Tale of Two Cities and The Last Five Years are also in the cd player downstairs.

And it's long past my bedtime. I am heading to bed. I don't know if I will be on much tomorrow as I am busy but I should be able to get on Saturday for a bit.

Jose, I have heard great things about this Cajun restaurant in Broad Ripple calle Yat's that is very reasonably priced. You might want to check it out, but I am sure you will find plenty of places to eat. :-)

It's drizzling here in NYC. I'm seeing Fascinating Aida tonight. I have one of their CDs and I've heard great things about them. I'm looking forward to it.

TD, my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Next week is another marathon theatre week. I'm seeing a friend's cabaret on Monday which benefits Dancers Responding to AIDS. Tuesday I'm seeing Chitty, Chitty Bang Bang. Wednesday I'm seeing Glen Gadberry Buck Ross, also known as Glengarry Glen Ross (the first title came from the names of two people in our University theatre department). Thursday I'm seeing Sweet Charity w/Charlotte D'Amboise. I am hoping to get another ticket to see Christina Applegate as well. She begins performances on April 18th. On Friday I'm seeing the Mufti performance of Darling of the Day. Wow, I'm tired just typing all that out.

Good morning, all!  It's a work-at-home day.  I've got some things for Liz Callaway and a lot of work for Anna Bergman.  I have to wander out at some point and purchase some blank CDs, return a score for Brent Barrett to the "Broadway Tenors" producer, and see a workshop of FOR THE LOVE OF TIFFANY, written by my friends Curtis and Matthew, which was a big hit two summers ago at the Fringe Festival.  I loved the show then, and I hope it goes well for them.  It's a very funny musical and I wish them well.   Please send them some good production vibes.

Media Alert on West 82nd Street:
CD:  The ENO recording for EMI of Humperdinck's HANSEL & GRETEL, which has never been released in the country on CD; it arrived from Amazon.uk yesterday.
        THE MOST HAPPY FELLA
DVD:  I'm still undecided; I hae to put away some discs, so I'll choose something while I'm tidying; I've a couple of Netflix things here, including THE WIDOW OF ST PIERRE
VHS:  I'm waiting for Rodzinski to bring over one of his movies
