As for Mr. Haines and Mr. Geissman...

"Inchworm" - multi-track Mr. Haines... or even better yet, make it a duet for Mr. Haines, and yourself, BK!  ;)

Inchworm (such a beautiful song) and The Ugly Duckling are my two favorite songs from Hans Christian Anderson.

My sister Myrna and her husband Mike (not to be confused with my brother Mike) have made an offer on a very nice house.  Myrna took us to see it this afternoon.  Cousin Debbie, the realtor, faxed the offer in, so maybe we will hear today.

It is a foreclosure that was offered at $103,000 (an outstanding price) and the offer was $92,000 (but increased to $95,000 if need be).

The way Mr. Mordden worded the Colette thing is completely inept.  It READS as if the Judys are playing Maurice and Willy.

By the by, regards the notes, BK...Professionals is a great movie!  It constantly plays the Westerns channel and every time I run across it, I'm hooked and usually stay with it.  It's quite true, you couldn't find those actors again.  Men.  Not little boys.  Great, great dialogue.  "With me, an accident of birth, but you, sir, are a self-made man."

Vixmom & Ginny we watched WEST WING for the first few seasons before Keith gave up on it.  I watched one more season but it was too difficult keeping up on my own.  Probably if he still traveled I would be watching but I’m much happier having him home.

Jennifer,  I'm please to say we rented the DVD of ANCHORMAN making if easy to turn it off.  I'm only sorry we took so long to do so.

DR GINNY & DR JOEY what is our dress code for Sunday?

DR JRand, most definitely NOT the spandex and gold chains that DR Jose suggested the other day!  Seriously, my DH and I will have a 2-3 hour drive each way, so we'll probably go for comfortable dressy/casual.  What's appropriate for Clowes Hall?

Der Brucer and I have been errant and truant (better than errant and falsant).  We have been taking pictures of dogs needing new homes, and staying off of the net in order to keep the phone lines open (only to have the expectant caller call us on the line we keep in the car), and last night we got drunk.  ( :-\ )

And last night you got drunk! I know I shouldn't but, ROTFLOL.  I gather this was a result of your good deeds.

Hi, Jane!  I agree, given the choice between my husband and West Wing, I'd take the husband every time!

Hisaka, we have a few Cherry Trees in my part of Oregon but not in abundance as you do or as they have in DC.  One of these days I would like to see them in bloom.

Ron, wishing you a speedy recovery. ;D

DRJANE I love Wonderful Copenhagen, Inchworm, and ALL of the COURT JESTER songs!

Loving every minute.  I was a bit disappointed “the chalice from the palace has the brew that is true……” wasn’t included.  Yes, I know it isn’t a song but it still should have been included because I want to hear it!  ;D

I just listened to WICKED and am now going to return to HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSON.

That would have made the recording quite interesting!

I found the odor of sanctimony and piety on THE WEST SIDE to be so overbearing that I could only tolerate the MADTV parody.

And so to bed!  When my alarm goes off at 6:30, my body will say it's an hour earlier, and I have to be good at Barnes & Noble tomorrow.  It may be my last day for a while, depending on Monday's surgical visit.

ONE of my problems with the show as well, DR ELMORE....but there you are. Manufactured drama in the face of the ugly reality seems forced and unentertaining to me.

The opening story tonight on ABC's 20/20 is about a young woman from here whose husband has tried several times to kill her.  She's a very strong, brave woman.  Her mother, who is also interviewed, used to be my hairdresser.

DR GINNY - dressy casual is good.  I usually wear a jacket, but no tie.  You will see everything from mink stoles to blue jeans.

My hair smells so good.  :) I had it trimmed and styled today and my hairdresser used new products on my hair, thus the comment.  She gave me samples and my car smelled yummy all the way home.  Now my hair looks great so we can stay home & watch THE FLIGHT OF THE PHEONIX.

Keith says he is serving popcorn if you want to join us.  Warning he puts yeast on it. :P

Ah yes, HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSON.  My Mother, the world’s first un-stage mother, would rue the day that she put me in that show.  When I was five, my Mother was the director of a junior high school production of that show.  Since Hans was being played by an 8th grader, she thought it might be cute to find some real little kids for Hans to tell the stories.  Big Mistake! That was fifty years ago, and I have barely been off the stage since.

I'm back from Mr. Geissman's and have eleven tracks to rehearse to now.  I'll have the other four beginning of next week.  He's put guitars and other stuff on them now and they sound faboo.  We'll have a horn date in a week and that should do it.  I'm really going to enjoy this album when it's all done.

Why do you have to rehearse? I thought Guy Haines was singing.

Only a few hours until the big event and I still haven’t figured out what to get Chuck and Camil for a wedding present.  I mean, his and hers horse blankets seems so clichéd.

Inchworm (such a beautiful song) and The Ugly Duckling are my two favorite songs from Hans Christian Anderson.

Elmoore did a lovely version of Inchworm on Liz Callaway's Frank Loesser album.
