Congrats to DRs TCB, Jed and MattH!

And DR Jose, you do realize that your roomie probably rushed to clean the place JUST BECAUSE HE KNEW YOU WERE COMING HOME, right? :)

I'm not sure if anyone answered this, DR JMK, but the promo for the 2 hours of LOST if not for this week.  They are showing the season finale promo now.

Kerry, I don't remember where it was (the diner). I know it was a strip (as in mall) kind of area but other than the searing heat (it was August), the kind that would eminate up from the sidewalk and heat the soles of your shoes and feet (you couldn't go barefoot in Phoenix in August, that's for sure) and Chuck's 95er and the slimebag who ran the theatre (he lived in Scottsdale in a beautiful home, the peon actors took a side trip one day to see where Mr. Moneybags lived) I don't remember specifics such as location of the faux Bates Motel or other incidentals.

Congrats to DRs TCB and Jed for upcoming roles in Annie Get Your Gun!

Now you guys have to draft DR Ann to play Annie Oakley.

Congratulations to DR's TCB, Jed, and MattH on being cast in musicals.  One of my favorite parts of the Mamma Mia finale was when they put the audience in the spotlight - I hadn't been in those kind of lights for years.

DR JANE: Evelyn is a name of my favorite English Rose. These are refined pink color having a gorgeous scent all their own and you can see them in my avatar on the left side of this very post (and  is shown usually). :)

The season finale will be two hours long but not this month! I believe LOST is in reruns for the next three weeks.

Someone asked yesterday about the release date for the Doris Day boxed set of DVDs.

I believe it is to be released the last Tuesday of April.

I haven't had any particular desire to see Mamma Mia here in New York, but all this talk of how wonderful the Indiana show was now has me itching for a ticket!

DR vixmom - Mamma Mia has been a choice at TKTS the last few times I've been there.  In fact, niece Laura and I might have seen it the afternoon of March 19 had I not already had plans for Indy.  We saw La Cage aux Folles instead, with the recently-replaced Georges.

If I can scrape a few dollars together I may try to get in there witha friend and see it.  DH is not in the least  bit interested...hmmm I wonder if DR WFO would like to see it...

Good morning, all!  I slept late, and I'm now stumbling around the environment rather like the final scene of THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE.

So much good news last night!  Congrats to DRs Jed and MattH.  DRJed, a word of advice: if they only offer you chorus, remember there are no small actors, only small parts.

Dear Friend BK, I saw Elaine Stritch do the SAIL AWAY concert at Carnegie Recital Hall around 6 years ago, and you're right:  bad libretto, not-so-bad score, and the title and best song came from a revue about 15 years earlier.  The best part of the concert after Miss Stritch was hearing the fantastic echt-60s orchestrations.

DRJoey, nice smile!

DRBen, we need to hit the Union Square market soon; I need another humongous jar of honey, and there's no place cheaper.

DRGinny, follow the light!  Congrats.  I knew you could do it.

I've always loved DETRITUS ANDRONICUS, my favorite Shakespeare play after THE MERCHANT OF VENUS.

Is there any DVD from Song Of Love with Katharine Hepburn in the US? I’m now interested in this film and would like to see it. But I’ve found only one VHS from Song Of Love on amazon.co.jp and they say it’s out of stock now.  If you, in the US, have any DVD of the film, I can look to have the DVD in Japan, too, in the future.....

DR Joey - Your smile is now even more beautiful than it was when we met in person on Sunday.  Now, be sure to get those wisdom teeth taken care of, so they don't ruin it all!

Thanks to all for the congratulations, and let me extend my congrats to DR Jed. Charlie Davenport is a fun part, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Which version of ANNIE are they using, DRs TCB and/or Jed? Do you know yet?

One of us could certainly make you a DVD of SONG OF LOVE once it plays on TCM as it does occasionally. Could you play a DVD-R from the US?

DRGinny, I'm very proud of you!  Remembering your reluctance when I first brought up the subject of HHW, it's nice to know my suspicions were right:  as crazy as the rest of us.

And now "Up Up and Away" calls me from my desk!  Off to work.
