Listening to "London Rhythm", 60 minutes of the golden era of British dance bands, on WMKV.

P.S.  If anyone wants the cast album of Going to Pot, though I can't offer you this one for free, I can give you a much better deal than you'll get at any of the online retailers where it's available.  Drop me an email or PM.

Good luck to DR WFO.  That is totally ridiculous that they cannot even get the facts of the case correct.  I wonder if he can get another parole hearing (since they clearly were acting on wrong assumptions).

Good Afternoon! I hope everyone is having a halfway decent day. It has gotten cold in Indiana again, but hopefully it will warm up again soon.

Do they air it via the internet? I would love to be listening to that whilst working away at work.

M. Barnum, the internet is the way I listen to the station.  It's based in Cincinnati.  The link is www.wmkvfm.org

Right now they're doing French singers who were popular in England, but the British dance bands should be coming up momentarily.

Please have Jessica Skerritt get in touch when she's in Hollywood.

Her through-line in her cabaret show sounds suspiciously like our Christiane Noll album, A Broadway Love Story.  I knew it was a good idea.

Congratulations to New HHW GODDESS - DRGINNY!  It's great up here, isn't it?

And no matter how many additional posts you make, this is indeed the pinnochle of HHW Success!

Perhaps MRBK would like to direct Miss Patty Duke as Dolly Levi nee Gallagher!  I am sure Cathy would be her understudy.

DR WFO thanks for the link to the Saucy Jack review....interesting.

Wasn't there a movie called THE DETRITUS AND THE IVY?

K-I-S-S-I-N-G!

I see another duet with another little cutie coming up on the Guy Haines album.

Happier news:

I have been contacted by an editor of a major national magazine who is planning to write, quit unconnected with his job, a biography of a friend of mine who passed away some twenty years ago.

This will be a Tell-All biography.  We plan to meet in the next couple of weeks, and I will Tell Some.

Isn't that exciting?  Isn't that just too too?

For now, I don't think I should give more details until I have spoken with the gentleman.

And hhw was instrumental in his contacting me.

ooh you've piqued my curiosity

Has anyone looked at BK's avatar and noticed how wide the eyes have become since pictures of Miss Skerritt were posted?

I have just caught uo on theall the posts and since I worked my way backwards (for no good reason) I just finally saw the NY pictures!! Thanks Jose!!  I also like DH's description as "Mr. Vixmom" since he refers to me as "Mrs. Stevie" on his group, I think I shall "steal " your description and henceforth DH shall be known as Mr. Vixmom!!

BK, perhaps you should hie yourself up to Seattle and see Jessica Skerritt in her little metallic mini-dress w/ray gun in SAUCY JACK AND THE SPACE VIXENS. It is worth the trip.

And if this here gay man can fall head over heals in love with her, then there is no telling what might happen to a 50ish year old Jewish guy!

I see Jessica's star rising already!!

Evidently that's not all that's rising.   :o

Thanks to all for the congratulations, and let me extend my congrats to DR Jed. Charlie Davenport is a fun part, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Which version of ANNIE are they using, DRs TCB and/or Jed? Do you know yet?

We are doing the revival version -- the only one that our director likes.  And what's not to like?  Orchestrations by elmore3003!

M. Barnum, for West coasters this station even gets better at night...just lots of music...no geezer programs, even fewer interruptions of which there are damned few right now.  "Latin Satin" is now coming up.
