Vixmom, I still need to send you a DVD! I recorded it, then sorta forgot about it

(very sorry about that), then I realized that there were problems, and so I've recently been fixing all that, and I (hopefully) should finish everything this weekend!

Interesting to compare the Mahler second in this set with the Japanese issue I have - no comparison, actually - the Japanese is MUCH better. Don't know why it wasn't used. The stereo Beethoven so far is amazing-sounding, though.

I will say that Bruno with a B is superb in these stereo Beethoven symphonies - really enjoying them. In the mono stuff there was a really interesting rehearsal disc for a Mozart symphony. He was a very exacting and precise conductor, even-keeled but knowing exactly what he wants.

Today, the family is getting together for the family dinner...at 2:00 pm. I was supposed to go over to my parents' yesterday, but we postponed until today. There will be much Phase 10 playing, I'm sure.

Well, from the above posts I can say I wasn't the only one having a bad night. I had two issues: my bladder was working overtime and my right leg kept cramping. Both issues made sleep a difficult situation. I had dreams, but I only remember fragments of one which was about searching for my goddaughter Charlotte's birthday gift.

DR Jeanne, I sympathize. This pandemic doesn't make things easy for our health. Your doctor's office closes for four months, and I have no idea when the NYU Dental Clinic will reopen.

The cats love my grandmother's quilt, but I decided to rescue it from any kitty damage by ordering their own quilt on July 8, 2020. I thought this looked good for them, but I am having a helluva time getting a response from the company about its order status.

I've never been a big fan of Peter Sellers, though I do like BEING THERE very much.

I recall being on the set of THE PARTY a couple of times. Had a publicity client (Timothy Scott) in that one.

The first David Niven movie that comes to mind is THE GUNS OF NAVARONE, one of the great WW2 action films. Also his Oscar-winning role, SEPARATE TABLES.
