And as I was just demonstrating the problem with the cd-rom drive to my roomate it popped open! It still needs the other things fixed so I am still going to send it in.

Yes, JRand, it's a very clever premise and a wonderful cast, including Mr. McIntyre, Dee Hoty, Donna Lynne Champlin, and my friend, Rosemary Loar. The book, music, and lyrics were by 27 individuals. Each musical number focused on a different set of audience members, made up of The Ushers, The Writer, The Four Old Jews, The African-American Yuppies, The Older Gay Couple, The Younger Gay Couple, The Obsessed Fans, the Doctor On The Cell Phone, etc. It was very well written and performed, alternately touching and amusing.

I googled it and it looks like it is the entire series. Now the problem is finding time to watch the entire series before the school year is over. :)

REACH OUT AND TOUCH NO ONE

The title of an article in today's New York Times regarding fake cellphone calls. Many people are faking cellphone calls, actually talking to nobody at all. This is done to avoid contact, impress those within earshot, to avoid looking lonely, and women conversing with air to avert unwanted approaches by men. It goes on to say that phantom callers are often simply trying to cope with social anxiety by showing that they have someone to call, even if they don't.
Call them cellphonies.

Caught up with last night's Alias.  I found the first two-thirds annoying, which has been my problem with most of this season: The same scenes being played over and over again.  But, the final few minutes of the show, they finally found their footing and did what they do best.

It is now official

It was announced during rehearsal this evening, that the role of Charlie Davenport in AGYG, will now be played by my very own cyber-son, Jed.  Hoo and Ray!
It really is good news week.  (a Hedgehoppers Anonymous reference)

Congratulations DR Jed (Cyber son of TCB)

No one eats alone!
I like that quote, DR Pogue.
It sounds like something from Into The Woods.
Or maybe the title of BK's next novel.

Pat Caroll is also the name Olivia NJ's good friend who is married to John Farrar.  Both Pat & Olivia would be more than familiar with the term ""tonsil hockey" - as used in their Oz homeland.

Neither Pat nor Olivia are or ever have been mermaids (to my knowledge).

Well done François.
