I don't have any plans today. I've almost finished my latest pass through the A&T book, and I like the current state of it. I want to go back to one chapter I worked on yesterday. I think I might have painted myself into a chronoligical corner.

Today, the family is getting together for my dad's birthday. I'll bring the Pick Your Flavor Pie. I hope the individual pieces come apart. I suppose you could cut it into regular pie pieces and have multiple flavors. That might be fun and tasty! We'll see what people want!

We have a few days of nice hot weather again. Each time this happens you wonder if it'll be the last. But it's only (ONLY???) August 22, so there's probably plenty of every variety ahead of us.

The first yellow early-falling leaves have begun to fall. No matter when that happens each year, it always seems like it's way too early.
