Usually we just have Johnsonville which are fresh not frozen.

As far as the tomatoes I just slice them in half, make a little “x” in the middle with a knife and put them in the toaster oven at 450 until they are soft .

Vixdad likes woerstershire sauce on his so I put that on before popping them in the oven. These days I sprinkle mine with Penzey’s Foxpoint or Sunny Paris seasoning (nearly identical but Foxpoint has salt and Sunny Paris does not)

Here’s something I wish I knew: what kind of cole slaw is the best type for putting on things like BK’s pastrami and turkey sandwiches.

If I had a great deli nearby, I’d take some home and start figuring it out. I really must consult with some people around here. Gotta figure out whose tastes I can trust.

Cole slaw can be wonderful on BBQ sandwiches as well, both beef and pulled pork. I’ve had some to die for in Memphis and in the Tupelo area.

They don’t do that so much in Texas, do they, DR John G.?

I just paid my sawbuck for the remastered tracks. It will probably be tomorrow before I'll have a chance to listen to the old and the new at proper volume and without distraction, but I look forward to that.

The original Nate and Al's coleslaw. Alas even they no longer make it as good.
