Well, you've read the notes, the notes were the straw, and now it is time for you to post until the straw cows come home.

I had to set up an account to get into the blog.

So did I, and then it took me a while to remember his real last name to find his blog...and then I remembered that we're FB friends.  Dopey me. ::)

Last night was not a good night of sleep.  I'd like to blame it on the Fat Orange Slug squatting in the White House, but I can't.

I have no plans today beyond the usual apartment pickup.  The cats sounded more frisky than usual after the lights were out, so the apartment needs close scrutiny.

I never like watching some IKIGAI hitting on somebody else.

I love IKIGAI films - especially Godzilla and Mothra.

I went to the WalMart Store today.

Sunday my brother Dane and his wife Pam and sisters Paula and Molly want to come over and listen to comedy records.....

Of course I can't find them......but I was able to find a couple of them online to download.  We will be listening to Allan Sherman - My Son, The Folk Singer & My Son, The Celebrity along with The First Family.

I also discovered that there was a second Vaughn Meador First Family album released in March, 1963.  I had never heard or heard of it....so I have downloaded it as well.

I cannot find my LP called The Absurd Imposters by Jim Coyle & Mal Sharpe.  And it's not online.  They went out with hidden microphones and talked people into doing hilarious things.....saying numbers, agreeing to give them their lunch, and that they were buying a dollhouse for their gnomes to live in.....

I'm up, I'm up - I've been up more than I've been asleep, if you must know.  I was in bed by one-thirty, tossed and turned until three, was up until four, finally slept and up at seven - three hours.  Not good.  Must get some sleep later when I get back home.

Friday morning greetings!  I have spent the morning on communications work for AAUW.  I know just enough HTML to be dangerous.

And it's a late one for me.

I slept in just a little beyond my normal time, then took it easy between then and now. Now I'm up and at 'em.

I wonder if I ever got all the way through Last Year at Marienbad in one sitting. Serious question. I saw it once at one of the revival houses years ago, but that might very well have been one of those times when I dozed off in a theater. And trust me, I've done that in front of way more exciting films. But I always made up for it by sitting through it again (because once I wake up from that little snooze, I'm fine) or by returning to see it again shortly thereafter. But this one, who knows? I have definitely started it a few times at home without making it through. It sounds like I should put that Kino on my list.

I'm glad Hurricane Laura isn't wreaking the havoc up north like IKIGAI did last month.
