Yep, 9th Avenue. Thank you, DR Elmore.

There's another Mexican place on 9th Avenue where Richard and I have been with DR Elmore.  It's called El Centro.

Stories like truly upset me :(  >:(

"Parents Knowingly Send Student Who Was Infected With COVID-19 To School".

Couldn’t read all of that.

How and why?  There should be consequences for doing this.

Frustration with FedEx here.  Last week I ordered some art supplies from Blick and received a shipping notification on Friday.  Progress was making sense as my package crossed Pennsylvania on Saturday and arrived in Zanesville, OH, early Sunday morning.  I thought, "Oh, goodie, it's almost here!"

WRONG!

Tuesday morning it was in Indianapolis, Indiana, which means the truck must have missed the exit from I-70 west onto I-75 south.  Next thing I knew (Wednesday evening) it was in Grove City, OH, which means it missed the exit from I-70 east onto I-75 south and was almost back to where it had been Sunday morning.

At 4:50 this morning it left Miamisburg, OH, on a delivery truck.  Miamisburg is less than half an hour from our house and my art supplies are not here yet - 12 hours later.

Yes DR JANE - THOSE kinds of biscuit tins.

I now have 21 biscuits.....very brown on the bottom, so I can't really offer them to anyone.....I will be eating biscuits for a long time.  They are now in a big bowl in my refrigerator.

AND to add insult to injury, my cousin Carol brought me the loaf of zucchini bread she offered me yesterday AND I have 3/4 of a cherry pie and all but ONE slice of a pizza......

I may be in shape to play both of the Fezziwigs after all.

I was hoping that Joshie and I might have lunch at Cafe Frida tomorrow, but they have folded.  This is very sad.  They had the best guacamole ever.  I will miss them.

Oh, no!  We had a nice dinner there with you several years ago.  I don’t usually like guacamole, but theirs was one I enjoyed.

Is Cafe Frida the one we ate at following Desperate Measures?

No.  Cafe Frida is around the corner from me on Columbus Avenue.  I think after Desperate Measures we went to La Cucina on 9th Avenue.

Typical of that lot.  Keep calling him out by name and make sure the name is "tagged" so he HAS to see it.

It was delivered about 10 minutes after I posted my lament.

DR ChasSmith, while I was giving the cats their evening treat I heard on tonight's CBS news that the NY State Bank, Key Bank, had a 3-hour glitch this morning and the additional unemployments went out this afternoon.  I checked my bank just now and they have landed.  I understand from the news that we are in for three more payments.

BK, I discovered a Requiem I do not know.  I do like Saint-Saens Christmas Oratorio quite a lot.

That sounds right. I just wonder if our illustrious GOP Senate is ever going to move on this again.

I just saw that DR Singdaw is awake, functioning mentally, and not in much pain.  All went as planned.

With a fully intact sense of humor - a great relief!

It it wonderful :)

Thank you, DRs Jane and John G, for your words of condolence.  Janet was very much a part of our extended family and we'll miss having her at holiday gatherings - whenever we can resume having them.

Extended family is still family :(

I feel bad for the student who will suffer the most for their actions.  It was the first day of school.

Freeze the zucchini bread in slices so you can pull out one at a time.  Trash the burned biscuits before you eat them all.
