Mom thought she had sold off all his stamps, but there were some good ones in there. Too bad no one wants that stuff any more.

Annaliese found two of Dad's old yearbooks. Very funny stuff. In the back, where there was a page for "Autographs," he had an engineering equation mapped out.

In the small yearbook (about the size of a theatrical souvenir book), she found a mention of him being one of the four quiet ones in his class.

I found a listening his senior year in which William Henry Griffin listed his nicknames: Bill and Elmer. No one ever called him Elmer as far as we know. We're still scratching our heads at that.

My mom, sister, niece and I are going to get together tomorrow (again) and actually talk about paperwork and my dad's obituary and other stuff that we'll all need to do.

The will have a vigil Friday night, then a liturgy on Saturday morning, and I guess that that will be open to up to 30 people who must be distanced.
