Thanks DR TCB.

My finger is still a little swollen but really, it is nothing to complain about.  All other stings, except the one on my head, in my life have continue to swell for a week.

T.O.D. (2)

Along with Humphrey Bogart, Edward G. Robinson was/is one of my favorite actors, and KEY LARGO is my favorite Robinson picture.  It is also my favorite Lauren Bacall movie.

I feel the same about both of them.  I have to reduce my computer time or I would read your interview with Claire Trevor.

I'm off to the church this morning. A summer of shaping the shrubs into spheres during the brutal heat, and then turning off the water to the landscape has resulted in dozens of dead shrubs. So I've begun the task of removing dead plants before the city cites us for having dead plants.

Oh my.  Where are volunteers to help you?

One of my songs with Keith.  I love it.

Good Morning.  Today I get to go get a COVID test.  The first of many as we'll need to get one each month when kids are back on campus.  Hoo and ray for sure.

Good luck.  Keith's cousin having surgery on Friday can't get his covid test due to the computers going down.  Fortunately they are still doing the surgery.  He needs to shower with the antibacterial soap.

My finger is really no big deal.  Of concern is my stomach issue I have not been able to get under control.  I was not being a "drama queen" about it.

I am forced to reduce my food intake until I will practically be eating nothing. It is the only way to find out if my stomach pain is from one medical problem or potentially due to the deadly family curse.  I prefer to stop eating before having invasive medical test.

I am mentioning this as I tend to eat more while at the computer.  I eat less when reading.

LOL!  I had friends who worked with her on Woman of the Year and really disliked her.  Until Raquel Welch took over, and they wanted Bacall back.

I’ve a 30-hour mystery to entertain me on the ride back tomorrow and a couple of backups if that proves deadly dull.

Today I get to go get a COVID test.

It's an unpleasant process, but mercifully brief.

Evidently, I have to administer it myself.  I watched a video sent by the people running the clinic, looks easy.  We'll see....

I finished my laundry, put everything away by 2:00, and then took a much wanted hot bath.  The effort of getting in and out of the tub is a bit frightening, and that fear has increased since my fall.  Luckily, all went smoothly as possible, and I am feeling quite refreshed.

Is this the Q-tip through nostril up to your sinuses, DR Matthew?  I don't know if I could do it successfully or not.  I'd prefer a technician.

In addition to the Dark Shadows episodes, we have been watching the original Upstairs, Downstairs serials. I remember my parents watching them religiously on PBS in the 1970's.

I loved Upstairs Downstairs!  When I first joined Netflix, I watched the entire series.  Some episodes were not shown in the 1970s on US television, but I missed a lot of episodes in the 1970s because of community theatre, sex, drugs and rock'n'roll.

I should watch that again. I think I missed the first season the first time around.

Do you ever feel like you’re trying your best but you’re still not getting anywhere? Welcome to the frustrating square between aggressive Mars in Aries and ambitious Saturn in Capricorn. When these two power players butt heads, it’s hard to get either one of them to budge, and you really feel that frustration building as you struggle to get anything accomplished today.

It’s enough that your own thinking might be an issue, but you also need to be on the lookout for authority figures (parents, teachers, or bosses) who have their own agendas and are ready to make their own power plays. As if you didn’t have enough to worry about, these people can throw obstacles in your way that you’ll really have a hard time getting over.

Don't give up - go on the offensive.

I heard that DR ELMORE.....

My dream consisted of you being in an elevator with YOU KNOW WHO and in the ensuing silence you said: "I enjoy your work very much."

And You Know Who replied:  "Why would I give a s#!t what you think?"

So at least you were spared that.....except in my dream.

Well our theatre website is now just a shell of what it was.

Our host Go Daddy has let us know that our website is so old and obsolete that they can only host part of it.

All of our drop down menus and that information is gone.....including our history, our photo albums, our attendance history from 1962 that included links to all the programs for the shows.....

Our past seasons, our workshops. and our upcoming shows/audition/information pages....our board information and By-Laws pages....etc....  We had about seven drop down menus with several links on each.....

GONE....we are now nothing but a front page.......and I don't think we are archived anywhere.....so Goodbye, Old Friend.....
