Last night, we watched a weird Glenn Gould documentary. I can't even think of the name of it at this point. It was weird because it contained long segments in Russian, French, and Chinese with no subtitles. The sections featuring Gould himself were wonderful. He was such an eccentric.

I have never understood the "Judy" cult. I do not swoon over her recordings, but I do think she was very talented. I do, however, think the footage of her aborted Annie Get Your Gun is an embarrassment.

I felt the same about Judy as BK. Zellweger’s performance was an underdirected mess of tics and irritations, coy and unsubtle.
