My dog (Chester) is not a happy camper today.

He's at the groomer.

Poor Chester.

Back from a quick and fun rehearsal.  I now know exactly how I'll shoot everything and the gal who's assisting me made a shot list and took photos.  I'm not sure the camera person will like me for it, but I'm not shooting it like a play because - it's a video not a play.

I would really love to understand how my DH's brain works. In the last 10 minutes, he has whistled:
1) "Into the Woods"
2) a bit of a French art song
3) "We've Got Elegance"

Maybe someday DR George will have the patience to explain to me how he embiggens my photos.

Thanks DR VIXMOM - as an old person on a very fixed income with not a lot of cushion - I don't think I can afford an implant @ $2400.  I don't know what the Dentist will say....we shall see.....
Gosh that seems awfully high....

Marie Callender's sounds like the perfect jernt to order the turkey dinner from.

I'm still a little sad when reminded that their Wilshire Blvd. "flagship" restaurant is no more, mainly because a few co-workers and I enjoyed going there occasionally for late drinks and dinner during a couple of years in the late '80s. But I had always loved grabbing a nice lunch in their regular places prior to that. The simpler comfortable style of those jernts is what Marie Callender's was all about. At least back then. I don't know if it's changed since.

I misread that sentence as the main reason the restaurant closed was because of DR Chas and his friends’ late night drinking parties there,

my goodness, I thought, what shenanigans DID they get up to?

Singdaw, which photos have I embiggened?  I don't remember what they could be.

Had my two phone meetings, which were fine - the guy who's shooting the videos is perfectly fine with the way in which I want to shoot, so that's good.

Now back to another Schreker opera, this one entitled Der Ferne Klang.  Wonderful music.  Have no idea what the story is - perhaps I'll read the synopsis.  This is the third opera by this guy and I've really enjoyed them all, I must say.  I have one more here and one on its way.  I wonder if all of them have recordings - there are nine.

DR George - I don't know, but it seems whenever you quote my post containing a picture, in your post it is bigger.

Ah, well!

Oh, I see.  So, when one uploads a picture to the HHW gallery to be attached to a message, it needs to be less than 192 KB.  The width and height dimensions, however, don't matter, so that if a small enough-in-size image is uploaded, and its dimensions are wider than a certain number of pixels, HHW automatically smallerizes it in the original message.  However, if you click on the picture after it's posted, it embiggens to its original dimensions.

Now, when I'm going to quote your (or anyone else's) message, I right-click* on the link below the picture and select "Copy shortcut," then paste that copied shortcut within the [ img ] and [ /img ] codes (without the spaces) and that creates the hyperlink to the original uploaded picture, but at its original dimensions, not at the smallerized dimensions.  That's why it can be smaller in your original post, then naturally bigger in my quoted repost.  If this manual copying and pasting of the image shortcut isn't done, then the picture doesn't show in a quoted post because the original uploaded picture isn't really a hyperlink to somewhere else.  I hope that that all makes sense!

I discovered that years ago and have just been doing it. :)

* I only have a Windows computer, not a Mac, so I don't know how that works in Appleworld.
