Jane, on the new Facebook thing, it's the icon near the thing that says "message" on my screen it's two over from that and looks like a little person - that's what you click on to get the pull down menu.

I don't remember any dreams from last night but I did wake up with Offenbach;s Song of the Incognito from La Perichole running through my head.

Last night around 1:00 I woke, reached for the lamp on my nightstand and managed to knock everything off the top of the night of the table.  When I make the bed this morning, I need to crawl around and find everything.

I've entered my unemployment hours for the week, so I have very little else to accomplish today. It will be a lazy day.

Mickey's Diner, featured in the movie A Prairie Home Companion. I used to work a block away.

There is another one very close to where I live now. They are open 24/7.

Yes crazy.  I was very nervous about them driving back and taking two days.  I especially worried about their father getting sick while he was driving.  I am relieved to know they returned last night.  The father and younger sister seem fine.  I am not sure why but they did a quick test on the sister today and it was negative.

The mother is at her home in quarantine, awaiting results of her test, and I am sure the others have to now quarantine in the father's home.

Just like Bruce tested today as a precaution you can get tested here if you don't have symptoms.  It makes sense as so many people are asymptomatic.  Of course this scenario is an indication of how imperfect this system is, still I guess it is better than not testing.  Plus the father had the sense to retest with only cold symptoms.  I am not sure he would have done that if he wasn't about to see his parents.

Hopefully the father and sister will quarantine even if they don't have symptoms.

I agree that it would be nice if anybody could get tested here. But as I mentioned you have to have symptoms or have been in contact with someone who tested positive.

Yesterday I worked outside for a while without sufficient neck coverage, and I immediately paid for it with a breakup of my voice. I’m otherwise fine and I enjoyed a good long sleep, but that was stupid of me.

I feel that you all need to know I just had the Double Pie Breakfast Special:

1 slice - pumpkin pie with whipped cream.
1 slice - apple pie with no melted cheddar because there isn’t any in the house (isn’t that sad?).
1 cup - Green Mountain’s Dark Magic.

God, it was yummy.

I was just informed that my share of an investment has paid a dividend this year and that I will get a nice sum in the next week or so......hopefully it won't all go into my mouth on Monday when I go to the dentist.
