I'll repeat my Ask BK/DR question from yesterday:

Does anyone know anything about Eileen Ryan, who appeared in a bunch of late 50s/early 60s tv (Twilight Zone, Perry Mason) and who bears a more than striking resemblance to Meryl Streep?  Are they related?

JMK the Internet Movie Database, http://www.imdb.com/, will usually tell you if people are related.  If I found the  correct actress she is Sean Penn’s mother.

Oops, looks like I'm pulling a George (figuratively, of course).  I remember now I looked her up last year on IMDb the last time I saw her--she's Sean Penn's mom!!

LOL-I should have waited a second.

DtM thanks, those poop vibes really worked!  ;D Now we need the eating ones to do the trick.  We are going to try a new medication which will hopefully increase his apitite.

George-LOL.  I’m sure glad you re-read my post yesterday.

Jose and DRLaura thank you for the Bogie vibes.  I had to take him to the doctor today as he has another bladder infection.  Without the vibes we might not have called until tomorrow and missed her since she is going to a convention and won't return until Monday.

Does anyone else here used an albuterol (or other brand) inhaler?

I have in the past but don’t now.  Why?  Keith’s mother uses one.

Danise I thought the Rescue Remedy helped Bear during the storms.  Poor guy.
It had been a long time since your last bomb scare, guess you were due.  :-\
Let us know how the bus meeting goes and if the situation continues to your advantage.

Jose your packing is moving along at a nice pace.  I’m impressed.  I didn’t realize much of your stuff has to go into storage.  Is this because you are subletting for now?  Did you find a place?

Now I’m caught up I think I will leave for the night.  I spent too much time sitting today and need to move around.

Just finished Wheeler & Woolsey's KENTUCKY KERNELS featuring little Spanky. And I do mean little. So cute! This may be W&W's most seamless comedy. Spanky seems to have mellowed Woolsey a bit in particular. And the female lead is just stunning, kind of like a blonde Ashley Judd. Lots of funny gags, Spanky's weird obsession with breaking glass, one good musical number, good support from Noah Beery.

Good evening!

I'm still on my sort-of break...  I decided to eat dinner - some quite dee-lish Chinese delivery - then wait and watch through tonight's "American Idol" decision show.  While watching, I taped together a few more boxes, and I put away a few more stray CDs.  *I had forgotten about the six(!) other piles sitting on the shelves at the foot of my bed.  I made a point of sorting out the OCRs and the like just in case I might need to access them sometime in the next two months...  -Hey, it was something to do.

Sandra- I must know what IAAAAAAAWF or whatever it is stands for.

Can you believe that Dear Reader Rodzinski is the first person to ask me that all semester? Give the man a Cherry Coke!

IAAAAWWOTD stands for "Introduction to African And African American Women Writers Of The Diaspora," and if you want to know what that means, you'll have to ask somebody else. I'm still trying to figure out what rhetoric really is.

My dad calls IAAAAWWOTD my alphabet soup class.

As for my "move"...

Right now, everything is going into storage here in Richmond.

I'll be here next week playing Mamma Mia!, and staying at Steve's.  During the day next week, I hope to go through my various "shoeboxes" of stuff so that I can whittle down all that stuff.  -My paper shredder will be getting quite the workout I do believe.

Then it's up to Fairfax where I will be staying with my parents like I usually do when I have a gig up in DC.  I start Mamma Mia! up there on the 17th, and that should take me through July 2.  Then it's up to NYC.

I'm hoping to make good use of my daytime hours while I'm up in DC.  I plan to bring a box or two of "stuff" up from Richmond each week.  Sort.  Purge.  Give away.  I'm even toying with taking on a couple of hours at my old music store.  Any extra funds for my upcoming move can only help.

I have a few more leads on another place in NYC, and in the same neighborhood I was looking at before.  I also found out that the "old" place may actually be repaired and ready by July, so...

We shall see...

I'm also happy to announce that I was able to update my roomie's computer without a hitch.  Yes, there's still some pesky adware pop-up, but it seems that part of the program - the one that causes all the issues - has been eradicated.

HOO and RAY!

My favourite years:  probably 1970, a great year for performing and where The Lovely Wife and I became hot and heavy.  1982...when I went to London to film my Sherlock Holmes; 1987...when TLW and I got married married and my play, THE EBONY APE had its world premiere.

No news, unfortunately. Had a couple additional opportunities last week, but nothing I'm too excited about. Never heard from one where I felt the interview went quite well. I'm still employed of course, but it is taking all my strength not to just walk away, so shady has the new operation become. Thanks for asking though!

Glad to hear you enjoyed KENTUCKY KERNELS DR Rodzinski! It was my first W and W movie...and I just presumed they would all be that good! Of course it could be that the other couple of ones I saw just weren't there best.

Jackie Wayne who is now Jack Salvatore on radio in LA was once a child actor who appeared in DAMN YANKEES as "a Kid" and in the first tour of BYE BYE BIRDIE and played Manuel in COUNTERPLOT with Mr Forrest Tucker and Miss Allison Hayes, is answering some questions I emailed him about his performing experiences.   I can hardly wait.

I just watched last Sunday's episode of DEADWOOD, which is my favorite tv series these days.  The proposal scene between Mr Elsworth and Mrs Garrett was so wonderful!  I think Molly Parker is superb.

I agree with you totally, DR Elmore. That was a beautiful and touching scene, handled expertly by both actors.

And the marvelous actor playing Mr. W (and who was Jack McCall during the first season) is superbly acting one of the most enigmatic personas on the show. I can't begin to imagine what thoughts and feelings revolve around in that fevered brain of his.
