At the Louisville Costco, I saw dried blueberries, which are no longer at my Costcos. So I bought two bags. They'll never go bad.

I just ordered 4 pounds of dried cherries from Michigan.  Shipping is 1 cent more than the cost of the cherries.  Still the outrageous cost is less than buying small bags of dried cherries locally, plus they don't taste as good.

I used to buy dried cranberries and cherries from Amazon.

I always keep the Costco dried cherries on hand. They are delicious.

My daily iron supplement looks just like an M&M™.  But it's not nearly as much fun.

Are they very tart? Tart hurts my teeth.

Maybe next time I will try the Costco brand before ordering from Michigan.  These will last a very long time.  Now that I don't bake with them, or make fudge anymore, I only use them in my oatmeal.

Listened to a bit of Schwanda on the Tube of You - delightful - found a cheap used copy and snagged it.

I think you'll really enjoy it. The great Polka and Fugue are wonderful concert pieces but I was surprised to see they do not occur together in the opera.  The overture is truly gorgeous as well.  I have always wanted to see a production.  The Met performed it in English in the 1930s and I always wished Levine would bring it back to the repertoire.

Annabelle is in a you-must-hold-me-and-pet-me dither tonight, poor little baby. Of the three, she is the lap cat. Thatch and Stella hate being held, but they love to snuggle up close to me and nap.

I think we're going to out and look at some Christmas lights in the neighborhood. I saw what looked to be some big displays during the day.

I got a lovely Thanksgiving email from dormer DR Ben's spouse Anthony.  He included a photo of their Christmas decor, which made me want to grab my walker, schlep down to their apartment, and walk several flights just to visit.

That’s beautiful !

Perfect, DR Singdaw!  The meager celebration we had planned for today had to be cancelled because Richard is not feeling well.  So that picture is the closest I’m going to get to having a birthday cake.

I don’t know what I was dreaming but I woke Up this morning because someone was shouting about the advantages of the health care system in Canada vs the US system.
