DR Ginny, it's lovely that technology allows you to share in this way.

Yes, DR Singdaw, we’re establishing new traditions that I hope will continue even post-pandemic.

Too warm for snow. But it is raining.

The church where I work had a "test" live broadcast earlier, for the time when they might move from pre-recorded streaming segments to more of a livestream broadcast. It went very well; they'd obviously prepared. The sound, video, and graphic elements were all very slick.

It’s been a wild ride. Ended up in the ER around 1:30 am. Two—count ‘em, two!—kidney stones making their painful way down. They added to the fun by having to “cath” me in order to get me to urinate. Ow and oy. As soon as the stones moved into the urinary tract, the pain subsided in the main area. They let me go a little later.

Oh, I feel terrible for you and am very glad they passed.  Who drove you to the ER?

I drove myself. It’s only about five blocks from here. Maybe a mile.

While close I expect it seemed far.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  Just finished December’s “Crafternoon” on Facebook Messenger with my sister (in Michigan) and niece (in Florida).

This sounds like an activity you just might to continue with once we feel safe to travel again.

Did you wake her up before leaving in the middle of the night?

Good Afternoon - home from church where we had 2 -  count them - 2 drive-in style mass's today.  People drove in the parking lot, tuned their FM Radio to the appointed frequency and mass commenced in the rain.  The priest was under a shelter and the musicians were in the breezeway.  I really have nothing more to add to that other than it was fine.  I'm thinking that Christmas may end up this way unless a miracle happens and they let us in the church.  Every day is a new adventure.

I hope they do not let you in the church for Christmas.  I believe we all need to be extra vigilant at the moment.

I did. But perhaps I should have awakened her when I returned. Though she saw the car in the driveway, she didn’t understand that I was home.

So, I'm downtown at the Washington Center, and I'm here volunteering to wrap presents that people have purchased from downtown businesses.

I think you should have, just so she would know you were ok.

Has anyone read any books by Terry Kay.  After reading "To Dance with the White Dog" I am looking for suggestions as which book to read next.  Sadly he passed away yesterday from liver cancer.

The WCPA has a big display out front with fake snow.  It's really cool!  The snow is actually some kind of soap:
