Just some things that are happening:

There are some very big things on the horizon, and thanks to the new moon and solar eclipse in enthusiastic Sagittarius today, you cannot wait to take the first step on a brand-new, mind-expanding journey. The Archer doesn’t feel the need to make plans, and under this fiery influence, your spontaneity level will soar to new heights.

You suddenly have a brighter view of what’s to come, and you can’t wait to get out into the world and explore what’s out there! Of course, acting too quickly can cause some negative consequences, but this forward-thinking new moon and solar eclipse has you focused on the big picture rather than the nitpicky

This sounds exciting.  Maybe it means Bryan will get vaccinated and I can relax a little.  And a brand-new, mind-expanding journey means we will soon be able to go to Chicago.

I must not forget "acting too quickly can cause some negative consequences"  We are being extra diligent.

That part jumped out at me, too, DR Jane.  I'm afraid a lot of people are going to get the vaccine and then throw caution to the wind.

I read we need to continue wearing masks after getting vaccinated.  Until proven differently, the belief is we can still give someone the virus.  If I am correct, we still can catch the virus and then the vaccine fights it, therefore the masks.

That's what I heard as well DR JANE from a couple of doctors on both my local news and on CNN.

I guess the odds are that we will be wearing masks when we see Freyja and her mother.

Relentless first day back to work. I didn’t even get to all of my emails. I still have about 50 left to read.

That sounds good.  The last time we had Greek food was in Greece.

There are several great Greek places here. I don't know why I never think of them when considering delivery.

It was decent. Chicken pita. The wrap part was crap. But the soup, avgolemono, was really good.

A bad wrap really does ruin the meal.

That's pretty cool.

Once when I was performing with a choral ensemble on a run-out tour, we were all waiting in the green room.

Our manager was named Gay [something or other].

The venue manager walked into the green room and said, "OK, who here is Gay?"

:o

Well, this just put a smile on my face.  No wonder the Fat Orange Slug is so desperate to keep that presidential immunity for as long as possible.

Why wait until the 21st?  Why not 12:15pm on January 20?  Both swearings in should be complete by then.

Good point, Ginny!

We had a lovely walk on our little beach today.  The water level was down a bit making our walk more comfortable.  When the water is high the ground is very uneven.

The bufflehead ducks have returned for the winter.

If I could share the photo from FB you would see them as little dots on the river.

I wish I could sing. I took some classes many years ago. It was my therapy after my best friend passed away.

The last time I sang in public was on my mother's 90th birthday. DR Elmore had arranged His Eye is On the Sparrow just for me. I sang it at church.

She didn't live to see 90, so it was in her memory.
