While I am relieved Bryan will be getting vaccinated it is still disconcerting that he can still "share" the virus with his family.

She herself tested negative

Maybe she should get her antibodies tested.

Feeling productive today...

Did some cooking, and got in a good long vigorous walk.

It is now #&$!@# snowing again.

Lightly.

But it's already covering up our beautiful work of three days ago.

My first of two Kritzerland shipments just arrived!

This one is The Littlest Revue and The Twentieth Century.

Lolita is still out there in the wild. I see one other package on USPS.com that says, oddly, "Label Created" and "Label Cancelled", both on Dec. 12th...

Well, I must get cracking. I have some gifts that need warpping, and -- I've been checking, but it doesn't look like they're going to wrap themselves.

New Broadway Radio Show just posted -- Putting It Together - THE MUSIC MAN.  If you're not familiar with my "Putting It Together" episodes, we listen to the entire score of a great musical pieced together from multiple cast recordings.  This time, it's 5 different source recordings -- of course, you'll hear from Robert Preston and Barbara Cook, but we also have Van Johnson, Brian Cox, Rebecca Luker and Catherine Porter and more!  Enjoy!!!!

DR Elmore, I just wanted to say that your recording and video recommendations are always much appreciated.

Even if it's something I don't have a particular interest in, there's a whole world that you're knowledgeable about that I'm not, and I love hearing about it and getting to know some of what I didn't know before.

Between BK and DR Elmore, my horizons have very much broadened over these past 8 1/2 (wow, see what I did there?) years.

We did something called Lights Under Louisville, where you drive through a cave for about 20 minutes underground and look at Christmas lights in displays ranging from the religious to the trendy (Frozen, the Avengers, Justice League, Star Wars).

Then we went for a short walk on the river, followed by a walk around an antebellum mansion. I had gone there on my first grade field trip. The buildings weren’t open, but it was beautiful if cold outside.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  Here’s something I’ve rarely been able to say on December 20:  all my gift-wrapping is finished.

Quarantine looks good, Elmore. Thank you for the recommendation.

As soon as I read about it, I thought of you, DR JohnG.  A novel I really love is Robert Graves' King Jesus.  I also like Graves' novel about Jason and Medea, Hercules My Shipmate. If you don't know them, you might find them interesting, especially if you liked I Claudius.

TCB, you hadn't mentioned Sasha in such a long time that I was figuring you had to return her because she nipped you. I'm so glad to hear she is still there -- and getting a new brother!

If I had a nickel for every time Stella has nipped me, I could retire.  I know she's plating, but she's very rough.

My neighbors Ann and Jen stopped down and brought me a cranberry-orange tart that Jen made yesterday. I cannot wait to try it with some vanilla ice cream.

8.5 years? Really? I feel I've known you forever. Thank you for the compliment.

What's the current Louisville temperature?
