Well, you've read the notes, the notes said so long, farewell, and now it is time for you to post until the farewell cows come home.

5:00 a.m.!  That is when the two monsters finally stopped fighting.  They spent this entire afternoon sleeping, so I can’t wait to see what this evening brings.

At least, they stopped! ::) Hopefully, they will stay stopped!

Those were very lovely reminiscences about Rebecca Luker, BK.  And that's a great picture of the two of you!

Topic of the Day (part one):  today, the family will go to my mom's house.  We aren't exchanging gifts, except we're getting my mom a new laptop (as I posted before).  She does not know about it, so she will be very surprised!  We'll all have different things to eat, then more than likely play Phase 10.  We might also play Scrabble because my mom love that game.  We'll see.

Topic of the Day (part two):  tomorrow on Christmas Day, everyone's going to my sister's house.  We're going to have sandwich foodstuffs and I'm bringing sliced cheddar cheese.  I also am going to make some cake-type donuts tonight for Friday from a package that I got at Fred Meyer when my sister and I went shopping together.  It has all organic ingredients, and you just add your own butter, eggs and yogurt.  It looks pretty good, and my sister gave me her cake donut pan to bake them in.  I don't know if these can be cooked in oil, but since I've never done that, I'm not going to try now.  The baked donuts will be fine. :)

I just awoke from a dream in which I led Prime Minister Angela Merkle to safety, away from a crowd that had been riled up into a frenzy. That was scary.

And then I had a chance to tell 45 what I really thought of him, to his face. He was not very happy about it. That was thrilling.

And then I woke up, and here I am.

I slept quite soundly until 2:30 or so. After that, it was touch and go.  Annabelle crawled under the blankets with me, Stella settled in, Thatch stopped by several times according to whim.

BK, I loved the photo and comments about Rebecca.  I gave you her phone number, and possibly Jason's, too.

i hope when she meets John McGlinn in the afterlife she kicks his ass good and hard for being such a self-destructive jerk.

Last Christmas, after I dug through several boxes of leftover cards for one for our Super, I consolidated them all into one carton.  I have no idea where the fat hell I put it.  So I will print a Christmas greeting, add money, and take his gift to him today. I have little plans beyond that.  Tonight I will either watch a murder mystery or something festive.

Tomorrow morning I will open all of my Christmas cards, stop by here, tidy up, and lie around with the cats.  Around 3:00 my Christmas dinner will arrive.  At some point I will call Randy and Jo, and that will be my day.

I also need to call Godiva customer service today and ask them where the fat hell a package I sent might be!

I have a short work day today, not because we're closing early for Christmas Eve, but because I had originally requested the time off to get to the early rehearsal and service at church. Now that that's not happening, I see no reason not to take the time off anyway.

I had another dream after I finally returned to sleep.  Not particularly pleasant; I was walking through an airport, and all the passengers arriving from England were not wearing masks and were coughing on me.

DR TCB, in my dream I was walking barefoot on the streets of Manhattan, not in Central Park.

I am sure that after a short period of adjustment, the two kitties will soon be the best of friends.
