I was laughing hard at Jeanne giving points for experimenting, because I thought that was her response to Tom for eating the Leprechaun.

Now, that's funny!! :))

Six minutes to contemplation, and then we countdown to the New Year.

Good Evening!   This evening, a few friends and I did a drive through of Christmas in the Park in San Jose.  It's usually a big ta-do in downtown, but they moved it to a city park where they could do a drive through.  It was a lot of fun.  I haven't really talked to these friends in person since this whole thing started - just texts, quick drive-by's etc... so it was nice to share some time with them

Then I went to Taco Bell... which was fine.   Opened the champagne and watched some TV.  Then headed out into the chilly evening to sit by the lagoon and have a cigar and contemplate what the HELL happened this year.

I would have liked to do a drive through lights.

I hope you had masks on and Windows down.

I took the boys out for their evening walk.  Now, I poured a glass of champagne and I may have some really good chocolate cake and watch whatever is happening on the TV.  There have been a few fireworks go off.  In the neighborhood I used to live in - 1.8 miles away from my new neighborhood, fireworks would be going off all evening.  I'm sure they are now.

Another advantage to your move.

Yes, definitely.  Windows were cracked as well.  I do have friends that I have been hanging out with since May and I admit to whoever asks that we don't wear masks in each others presence.  Vet the people who you'll be with, that's my belief.

No, it's still a mystery.  I was actually thinking what happened in late June/July/August when it should have been summer vacation.  I'm like... what did I do to fill those days???   So crazy.

After playing cards at my mom's (the three of us each won a game!), I did a little shopping at Fred Meyer, came home and ate dinner (don't judge me...I made myself a new creation: a home-assembled egg salad burrito ;) ) and now I'm here and need to ketchup on all the posts! ;D

George, you get three points for experimenting. I hope you liked it!

I've totally made an egg salad burrito!!!  Maybe with bacon and cheese as well!!   DEEE-lish!

Isn't there also something about eating something green, for prosperity in the new year?

Yes, I ate a Leprechaun.

Was it tasty?

Tasted like chicken.
