Thank you, ChasSmith.

A Strauss opera is good enough to get me back into the MetOpera swing.

We have had a breakthrough.  Both kitties slept on the bed with me last night.

Is it just me? I think Mr. Rogers’s life would make a great idea for a musical. Not with the scope of the Tom Hanks film, but something dealing with the show, on screen and off.

A new Pew Research Center poll released Friday found just 29 percent of Americans approve of the job Trump is doing in office, by far the lowest rating he has received during his presidency. More than two in three Americans, 68 percent, disapprove of his handling of the job.

What a shame.

I just received a very gushy letter, thanking me for all of my contributions to EDF (Environmental Defense Fund) in 2020.  I donate to a lot of organizations, but I have never heard of the EDF.  DELETE!!

Friday afternoon greetings!  We are expecting some snow throughout the weekend.  Nothing crippling, but it is January, after all.

DR TCB, it's nice to be here when you are so I can tell you "in person" that you remain in my prayers as you look for health answers.

From DR TCB:

I received an e-mail today from some ultra conservative group.  I have no idea where they got my name.

That is almost as funny as the special card of appreciation for my support that I received from the soon to be departing president.  I think the idea was to tell me I supported him and then I would believe it and vote for him ;)

That show, by the way, has resulted in my seeing Dean Stockwell more than I ever saw him in my life, and I have to say I really like him. The lead, Scott Bakula, is very good, too, and I've mostly only known him from his recent years on NCIS New Orleans.

Yes, a fine child actor that proved he still had talent as an adult.

Quantum Leap is on the Comet station every night at 6 p.m. EST so now and then I watch an episode.....yes as DR CHAS SMITH wrote some of the episodes are very good.

I have liked Dean Stockwell since COMPULSION so I enjoy him in the show.  I also like his brother Guy Stockwell especially in a remake of BEAU GESTE which also starred Telly Savalas.  Not a patch on the original and very Universal Television Like......but it's a wonderful story.

I forgot about his brother.

I just got another ultra-conservative email warning me about the upcoming socialist takeover in our country.  "Their liberal agenda actually calls for socialism, defunding of the police and MEDICARE FOR ALL!"

We have a great niece due today and I'm about to finish knitting her baby blanket.  I've also started assembling a gift for her 3.5 year old big sister.

Good Morning.  We've already had a school Mass, 2nd grade in the church and everyone else watched the LiveStream.  It was nice.  I have one more class and then I'm sorta done for the day.  Hopefully will get a decent bike ride in as the weather is lovely - and then there is a 3-day weekend.

I got home around 11:30.  I stood at 23rd Street and Fifth Avenue for the longest time waiting for a taxi to show. Both taxi drivers were great.

As soon as I got home, I lay down with Annabelle and Thatch and napped for about an hour.
