Watching Buster Keaton in Sherlock Jr. It’s on YouTube. Great film.

~~~GOOD RESULTS VIBES~~~ for DR Jeanne!
Thanks, Sing, but I know there's a problem and another procedure will be needed. They can't schedule it until the surgeon evaluates today's results. It'll be another outpatient surgery and, though not pleasant, it won't be too major, either. This doctor has his own little OR and his own nurses, so it's much easier than going to a hospital.
We liked the little outpatient surgery office in Ashland.  I don't think any of our doctors here have one.
Given all the news yesterday, some of you may have missed this:
Melania actually wore FLATS!! That's right. She boarded the plane out of DC in her usual stilettos (and designer suit), but landed in Florida wearing wearing flats and an almost-muumuu. Quite a transformation. Does this mean a new Melania is in the works?
I thought she actually looked happy for a change when they left DC, and I thought her outfit was beautiful.  That dress on arrival needed flats though I think she needed a completely different outfit ;D
I saw the muumuu. Ugh and ugly. Like something that even Peggy Lipton wouldn''t have worn on Mod Squad.
Sorry you are not feeling well, DR John G.
I didn't have any reaction whatsoever to either of my two Shingrix shots. I count myself fortunate.
This reminded me to finally schedule an appointment to get my shot.  I'll be getting it in two weeks on February 5.  I was told that I can schedule the second shot at that time.
So, my sister is saying that she heard/read paper masks are much more effective against the new coronavirus strains than cloth masks. Anyone else encounter the same?
I had an excellent article I can't seem to find.  I believe cloth masks should be two layers with an insert for a filter.  Cloth masks should be an N95 or what we recently purchased, and love, the KF94.
This is the adult size Keith purchased
I haven't heard anything about the new strains, other than they spread more easily. :-\
We both feel the masks fit better and they don't slip at all.
Had hot dogs - very good - then delivered pages, picked up a couple of packages, but have mostly been relaxing and fighting allergies.
Listened to Korngold's Die Tod Stadt - very good and melodic. Now listening Laurent Petitgirard's Joseph Merrick: The Elephant Man, which is really good - very much like his film music. And I think that I'll watch the DVD of it this night.
Listening to a very weird book called Made for Love. One of the characters develops a sexual fixation on dolphins. It not as cute as it thinks it is.
No viewing tonight. Muse Margaret called and loved the final batch of pages up until the final two, which she HATED. Very similar to her reaction to the final chapter of Rewind. She said she thought maybe it was her and I should have someone else look at it, but I just kept hammering away at her to get to the root of the problem and once we did I saw exactly why she was so bothered by it. We talked it through, figured out how to fix it, and she went and ate dinner while I fixed it. It's funny to me, but it involved rewriting one long speech and adjusting the half-page that follows it. And doing that changed the entire tone and feeling of the ending and she was so right about it. And then I wrote a two page additional chapter, which I'd thought about doing originally and my initial instinct was right. Then I read her the changes and she loved it - left her feeling good and our protagonist remained true to himself. And that's why she's the Muse.
I am not sure I understand the T.O.D.   What type of docudrama, not the docudramas themselves?
We decided tonight would be a good time to watch Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.   It has been years since we watched it.
Two masks are better than one.
https://www.mic.com/p/its-time-to-double-mask-it-experts-say-58185077
Or, as I mentioned 2 layers with a filter in-between.
The fit us also very important.  They need to be secure and not open at the sides or sliding around.  I love the secure fit on our new masks.
There were many custom made masks at the inauguration.  Aside from beautiful they fit well and were thick.  I suspect they had filters in them.
