Just before I fed the cats, Thatch vomited all over the floor.  I hope it's just a hairball.

I had a massage appointment today to fix my troublesome left hip. Katy recommended an exercise that I'll begin in the morning.

Then a stop for...tacos!

Katy told me that she's been feeling lighter since the Inauguration, too, as have several people she's knows. I think a lot of people are sick of the non-stop political messaging and welcome a more normal take-it-or-leave-it approach to politics.

At least, it was before he ate and not after! :o

This is the best one I have seen. Bernie Sanders turned his inauguration meme into a sweatshirt.  All proceeds go to Meals on Wheels Vermont.

Had hot dogs, did stuff for project one and then had a haircut, after which I picked up a package.

Listening to Verdi's Otello, 1960 recording on RCA Living Stere reissued by Sony - Jon Vickers. It's very big.

First cut of project one is finished, but I thought it best to wait until tomorrow so we can have the afternoon to finesse, rather than trying to do that tonight when we might be tired. Did I post that already?

Why am I kind of enjoying Otello more than the other Verdi's I've heard. I really like it.

Because it's good. I loved it when I saw a couple of years ago. I think it's very underrated.

I have enjoyed reading some of the tributes and remembrances of Hank Aaron. I remember seeing his 715th record breaking home run. What a great man he was, off the field and on.

I saw Aaron's home run on TV. But I was there in Riverfront Stadium when Pete Rose hit his record breaking single.

I will have to study that a bit. I'm having a hard time imagining chocolate and pasta together.  But stranger things have happened.

But tomorrow will be taken up with a lentil and leek gratin that sounds wonderful. Amazon delivered the French lentils today.
