« on: January 22, 2021, 12:24:34 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes revised the ending, and now it is time for you to post until the revised cows come home.

George, I don’t think the Albee estate (or anyone else) could forbid an all-black production.

Anyway, my point was, BOYS IN THE BAND always seemed like Crowley’s gay version of VIRGINIA WOOLF.  And let me tell you, for an 18 year old gay kid, it almost sent me way back into the closet.

I don't know what I would've thought of it when I was 18.  I only heard it for the first time maybe 10 or so years ago.

So, has anyone seen photos that people have been posting where they've added Bernie Sanders from a picture taken at Biden's inauguration?  My friend Marko (pug's husband) posted this on FB.  He added Bernie to Olympia Little Theatre's production of Equivocation!

I slept well until 3:00 or so.  At that point my nose was so blocked with gunk I could barely breathe, so I needed a handkerchief from the dresser drawer, and I debated taking a tizanidine for my legs.  At the same time Thatch and Stella came running to greet me - and probably tell me that wanted breakfast - and then Annabelle decided it was time to withdraw from her aerie and snuggle under te blankets.  I turned off the lights, settled down, and Thatch uttered a loud cry that alarmed me.

I hope he has a long life with that heart valve issue, and I probably spend too much of each day worrying about his health and mortality.  When he cried, my first reaction was, is he dying? Then I heard the patter of eight feet and realized he was wrestling with Stella, who plays rough. I slept until 5:45, when I decided it was time to get out of bed.  I had several dreams I no longer remember, and one in which I was at Miami University looking for an old friend whose wife/girlfriend had died.

The dreadful characters from the book I finished were in some of the dreams.

Has anyone ever heard of stonska, a Croatian chocolate pasta cake? I decided last night to make it, and these characters were all criticizing every detail. It came out perfectly and one refused to taste it. I don’t know why I was paying any attention to them.
