I watched a very interesting documentary last night regarding Roanoke, the lost colony. They barely even touched upon Roanoke when I was in school. It is a very interesting story.

Kitty clean up is over. I'm trying out some new dry food from Iams. Annabelle and Stella have been eating it, but not Thatch, who only eats his Meow Mix.

It's a Tuesday, and we're expecting snow later today and into tomorrow. What fun.

You know what I really liked? I mean really really liked? I really really liked the last several weeks we had without snow. We had a major storm on Dec. 16, the horrible cleanup of which took two days, and one (count it) inch on Jan. 4 that we cleaned up with the leaf blower. We're spoiled.

I've taken the recyclables to the basement, dragged up a large carton of paper towels with yesterday's mail, made the bed, and I am about ready to begin my trip to the barber shop.

I just dragged the trash can up from the road, and positioned the car in the garage to leave clearance for taking the snowblower out. I guess I'm done with storm prep.
