The truth will not move wind chimes.

Great quote from John Lithgow's character in Perry Mason

Speaking of windchimes...    Here are some virtual ones you can play with:

We ended up with about 3 inches of snow.....and there is a bit still coming down.

Of course the snow plow goes by and pushes it all up against the drive ways in big stacks.  It would be much easier to shovel if they left it alone.....but oh well.  It gets very HARD and HEAVY in stacks like that - but they don't care.

My uncle's chemo is going well.  He gets a scan the week his next three-day round starts on February 15.

He gave me a plot plan of the subdivision we were building back in the 1980's.....  We had invested a great deal of $$$ in it - streets and sewers - and had sold several lots. Then the airport decided that it was on the approach and that homes shouldn't be built there.

They swept in and paid us practically nothing - with a government approved zoning ordinance, et al.  Anyway.....about ten years ago they put up a sign there saying "Lots for sale" - but I don't think they've sold any.  I hope not.

The plot plan is very interesting....I put it on the piano top for all to see.  If I hang it on the wall, I have to frame it - so it's just there leaning against the wall.

The basketball games today were not very interesting.....  And my OnDEMAND refuses to work.

And the Comcast website says that the error message I am getting is 'no longer used'....even though I'm staring at it on my screen.

Sunday evening greetings!  We got some snow last night, but it turned to rain and that has kept up all day.  The concern is that the roads will freeze over and then more snow arrives.  Guess we’ll have to stay home - what - oh, yeah...

Speaking of ducks, surfing or non-, is anyone familiar with the kid's cartoon "Darkwing Duck"?  He is, apparently, a fighter of crime.
I was not, until my boss at work pointed out that Darkwing's initials and my own are the same.

A recurring refrain in the cartoon's theme song is:

When in trouble you
Call D.W.

 :P

DR Singdaw, Darkwing Duck was popular when Rob was 6 or 7 and he was really into it.  We had a big shrub in front of the porch that was Darkwing’s hide-out for a while.  And I still have the purple cape that Richard’s mother made for Rob to wear during his re-enactments.  Maybe Charlotte will wear it some day...

I don't think I'm going to finish Perry tonight. I'm on episode six of eight and getting in need of a break.

We're watching a streaming series on Amazon Prime called After Forever. The episodes are short; only about 10 minutes long each.

It features Kevin Spirtas.

Thanks for all the previous plumbing vibes; however, our bathroom ceiling is dripping again.

Went to pick up the package from yesterday but there was no package. I showed them the delivery notice from eBay and it turns out the package was delivered to Irvine. That's where they guy who shipped it lives. I wrote him and he said he just got another message saying the same thing happened, so he'll go check on it tomorrow. That's the USPS for you.

Had a Chinese chicken salad for food, and entered fixes for the first 100 pages of the book, which is all I've really been doing today. Once Marshall and I are done, I'll continue entering fixes.

I have stuck with Perry Mason all the way through. Interesting evolution. The language in this is also like what someone said about Miss Scarlet and the Duke: It's way too modern. But the ugliness of people transcends time, sadly.

Marshall has come and gone. We watched project one aka Tonight's the Night, straight through - our sound guy tried his best but I think this kind of thing is simply not in his wheelhouse so we're using Marshall's mix, which I was very happy with anyway. So, the show's now locked, looks and sounds good, and whew!

What's astonishing to me is that we began filming this on the 14th and two weeks later it's completely finished.

More ceiling vibes to Singdaw and his hubby.

Sigh. Is the building management showing any sense of urgency?
