Having fun seeing the social media pillorying of Cruz and Limbaugh.  And well-deserved.

I used to love the Batman TV show. I was able to visit the set and meet the stars on one of my studio visits. That was fun.

I also enjoyed Lois and Clark. I love the idea of super powers.

I just washed my hair for the first time in days. Feel human again.

Yes, washing my hair is always a boost for me, even when I'm not in the midst of a weather emergency.

Vibes you continue to have water, hot water, and all else you need.

I only sat there, too, but - in my humble opinion - I did it very well.

If anyone is looking for some lightweight, carefree reading, in a multi-book series format, in the Harry Potter vein (involving magic),
I can recommend The Network Series by Katie Cross, and/or The Lily Singer Adventures by Lydia Sherrer.

I will look into these. I'm a fan of Ben Aaronovitch's RIVERS OF LONDON series about cops who use magic. The first of the series is called MIDNIGHT RIOT in US versions. The series takes place in and around London.

I keep one of these next to my bed.  It is easy to find as it glows in the dark.  I can also clip it to my pants loop with a carbine clip.

I'd never heard of these, but am pleased to do so! Jane, you just made a sale. (Not that Amazon needs the business.) Back east I tried to be prepared for emergencies, but here in California I admit I've gotten lax. Always good to have flashlights on hand and these little ones look great. Thanks for mentioning them.

I just remembered we still have one Eveready flashlight left.  I tend to forget about it as it is under the guest bathroom sink.  We still need newer and better flashlights.

Any suggestions?

You might want to check LLBean. they don't have a big selection, but what they have is good quality. So good that I once gave one of their flashlights to my handyman as a gift. He really liked it.

Glad to hear that so many DRs were able to get vaccinated.

My concern is that some people will take their vaccination as an "all clear" and behave recklessly, thus endangering the rest of us. Apparently, some vaccinated folks are immediately booking travel. Sigh.

Tomorrow I am booked for a very much-needed massage. That's as much travel as I'm ready for (10 minutes each way.)

Just finished a sci-fi horror flick called High Life, which I, surprisingly, enjoyed. It wasn't about the gadgets. It was about some rather not nice people whose penal colony is a space ship far from earth.

Was anyone nice?  I like sci-fi, not so much horror.

That was part of the intrigue of it. You had to see what your sympathies led you to and how they could be changed by developments.

OK :)

Warning, sometimes they don't glow as well as they should and need to be left in a bright light.  The soft glow in the dark cover feel comfortable in my hands.

I'm starting The Browning Version, which I haven't seen in quite a while. Loved it before.

Is that the documentary about the founding of the Coppertone Company?

The obit says that Duane has appeared in many community theater productions in the Tacoma area.  I don’t claim to know every actor in the Northwest, but I can’t find anyone who knew him.

Hmm...interesting.   Maybe it'd just been years since he did theater.

I’ve been doing theater for 65 years, I don’t think he was there before me.

Well, I'm off.  My mom called and asked if we could play cards tonight instead of tomorrow, and I said that that was fine, so we will tonight, and not tomorrow.

Be back later.

Well, playing on Thursday didn't help...I lost both games! ::)

I just had a really bad breathing spell.  I always thought that drowning would be the worst way to die, but I think I am changing my mind.
