Tonight we're celebrating Nathan's birthday which is actually tomorrow. He's picked a new-ish Mexican restaurant delivery for the foodstuffs, a place I didn't even know about, and I'm greatly looking forward to that.

Seriously, have I seen a single film from this past year? I don't think so.

These days I feel like the last film I saw was Birth of a Nation.

I meant to add to my Pelleas post that yes, hearing this one is probably enough!  :)

Walgreens/Duane Reade has turned me down for the virus vaccine because I said yes to their question if I had cancer, diabetes, sickle cell anemia, etc.

I know I have not. With the exception of Supernova. But that's from 2021.

Met on Demand has no videos of Pelleas available. There are 4 audio recordings; one from the 80s, one from the 90s, and two from the 2010s.

That makes no sense!

I don't know if this recipe works or not, but I found it.

That "serves 4" part is for the birds, though.

My friend was in a fraternity at Purdue.....he said it was named:

I Grabba Hoe.....which was much funnier when it didn't mean anything else......since Purdue is an agricultural college....

Which reminds me of the time we were doing Pippin - and during the Catherine sequence, I told Pippin and the two boys to go off stage left, get their hoes, and come back across the stage.

One night in rehearsal they each came back with a random girl and walked across the stage.....

TOD:

I don't know.....I don't know what's eligible or even the names of movies that have been released......

What is this Birth of a Nation thing DR ELMORE is talking about?  Is it a Quentin Tarantino movie?

I dunno. The theater life in that Hoosier State is sounding pretty risque to little ol' me.

Episode 4 of Snowpierceer uses Kerry O'Malley's character more than any previous one. And, my, is she imperious. Royal bitch with a capital R.

Didn't former DR MBarnum have a dog named Bosco?

He did and we also had a cat with the same name.
