Good Morning - I'm off to Oakland (think of the Bronx and you have some idea what I'm talking about) for my first shot.  I'm hoping for good results so it can be business as usual this weekend.  However, I've cleared my weekend when the 2nd shot comes along!

Excellent and wishes for a decent reaction.

I made a Roasted Red Pepper and Sweetcorn Soup for lunch. Followed the recipe exactly and it turned out like I thought, warm salsa. I have added vegetable stock. Turned out good.

I'm back from Oakland.  Very easy.  So far, I'm fine.  I may take some advil later if my arm begins to be sore.  So, we'll see.

In unrelated news, I have put a pizza into the oven.

After reading about MR BK's pizza feast yesterday, I began to get a craving myself.

I believe that was Freddie the cat and Bosco has been gone much longer :(

Freddie the cat used to get stuck in neighbor's garages all the time.

If I were to have a cat now, I think it would be an indoor-exclusively pet.

I've heard too many stories about cats getting picked up by large birds, killed by coyotes and dogs, tortured by crazy people, so there's no way I'm letting my babies out of my sight.

Several weeks ago, I posted this news piece about Tuxedo, the feral cat in Harlem that some idiot let his pit bulls tear apart. I weep for what this poor cat went through.

Yes, and was fortunately found.  Once they moved to the apartment Freddie became an indoor cat :)

Scottish Opera has a production of Hansel und Gretel online.

Didn't check it out to see if it's any good.

I'd imagine it's not as good as some of the favorites that have already been aforementioned.
