Today's epic is The Princess from Montpensier, a costume drama from Bertrand Travernier, and it is certainly unlike any other film of his I've seen. 16th century France. A young woman is sold into an advantageous marriage with a man who loves her. But she has her eyes on someone else. And she has ideas of her own. So do some of the men who want her.

A dash of feminism, a dash of Three Musketeers, costumes, battles, lust. Very French and fun.

Saturday afternoon greetings!  We’ve had a quiet day watching Michigan defeat Indiana on the basketball court.

Congratulations on your refund, JRand. It’s certainly better than owing anything.

Full moon in Virgo tonight......get things done and get ready to move on.

You don't have to be precise, but at least take some action or START things rolling.

I tried a new chiropractor the other day, but the jury's still out on whether I like her. She's nearby and takes my insurance--two positives--but everyone practices a llttle differently. The guy I went to last year was very good and did help me, but he doesn't take any insurance. At least I have him as a back-up. There are lots of others I can try, too. but I could use some reiief sooner rather than later.

Has anyone seen "Henry IX," the British comedy series? I'm rewatching it. It really is fun. Apparently there were two more seasons, but neither Acorn TV nor Amazon have S2 or S3, and there's no DVD. Sigh.

My new little flashlight arrived. It's a very bright light. I like it. Perhaps I'll name it after DR Jane.

I am sorry you didn't have relief.  I haven't found them helpful.  Everyone is different.

Had a light breakfast at Jinky's but it was not fun - VERY cold, VERY windy and I should have left. Not good for me. And of course when I did leave, then it got hot and the wind stopped.
