Well, you've read the notes, the notes were discombobulated, and now it is time for you to post until the discombobulated cows come home.

Didn't that star Brad Pitt?

I am awake after a dream of trying to buy a recording of William Walton's Belshazzar's Feast.

Some of the folks in the store were not wearing masks.

The alarm rang ay 5:45, I turned it off, cuddled up with Annabelle, and woke up at 6:30. All three kitties ate their tuna their tuna this morning, so I am exceedingly happy at the moment.

Thanks to HHW, I know more than I ever cared to about immersion blenders, and I am happy that DR JohnG had one - almost two! - proposals yesterday.

Last night I started watching the 3-part BBC miniseries of Evelyn Waugh's Decline and Fall.  After 30 minutes I decided I wasn't in the mood, so I'll try it again tonight.

I need a sherpa today to help me with the Big Ladder and too many cartons of Fancy Feast. I need to do some moving and rearranging.

BK, the Reynaldo Hahn O Mon Bel Inconnu sounds like more fun than Ciboulette. I see the original star of the musical was Arletty of the great Children of Paradise, a film I would love to see again.

There's work being done on our building today, and we've been warned our power may cut off. Ugh.

Love Children. Watched it about a year ago.

Paying as little attention as possible. The headlines won’t let me escape.

Thanks, Tom. I’m most beholden, as Katharine Hepburn once said.

TOD:

Bonnie & Clyde
Network
Mommie Dearest

We saw her onstage in MASTER CLASS and she was really quite good.....for some reason I thought she would be much taller.  And of course the ENTIRE audience was held in the lobby until curtain time 8 p.m.   We were then allowed in to sit down, and the show was delayed until 8:45 p.m.

One of the ushers told me that Miss Dunaway had fired her hairdresser in Cincinnati and forgot she didn't have one until she got to the theatre that night.....CHAOS!

On the news the next day she said the delay was because they were getting the spotlights right....but the curtain was open when we came in.....and I never saw a spotlight turned on on the stage...

Yesterday evening I ate a Marie Callender's beef pot pie. I've always loved chicken and turkey pot pies from many sources, but I hadn't had a beef one since I was a kid and my parents were buying Swanson's TV dinners and pot pies.

I loved it, and more of its kind shall follow.

I'd been in a pot pie kind of mood of late.

In my first years of shopping at Trader Joe's in the early 1980s, they had a turkey pot pie in a whole wheat crust that I had fairly regularly. I think that's the only time I've had anything but a standard crust. I don't think that one's around any more, but maybe I should try something else of theirs again. I don't get to TJ's as often as I should.

I’ve been wanting to make my own pot pie recently. You may have inspired me, ChasSmith.
