Thank you for all the vibes. I don't expect any problems with tomorrow's ultrasound; the doctor just needs a fresh one before the April surgery. These procedures have been in the works for TWO YEARS now, delayed and cancelled and rescheduled numerous times, partly due to Covid and partly due to conflicts and such on my end. Covid has really thrown a monkey wrench into health care.

DR Jane, I meant to thank you for mentioning the glycine. I used it some years ago, but I don't think it was to help me sleep. Your optometrist sounds like she's really trying to help you. I've had the impression you like her and don't want to change.

TCB, how is the inhaler working? I had been wondering if one would help you. I'm sorry you have to go through all this. It's bad enough to have health problems, you shouldn't have to go through bureaucratic hoops as well. Alas, that is today's medical system. I hope you find something that helps -- soon.

A hedge fund owns the newspapers and has been cutting staff, as so often happens. I hadn't heard of this before, either. I hope it works out. We need a free ad healthy press.

I don and I like the office.  My issue is with her touching my eyes since she hasn't been vaccinated.

I am trying an experiment on my own and have not used 2 of the 3 eye medications I have been taking.  While my eyes are still blurred and bothersome I think the pain isn't as bad.  It will be interesting what she has to say if I stay off of them.

TCB, how is the inhaler working? I had been wondering if one would help you. I'm sorry you have to go through all this. I am now on two different inhalers.  The solid-gold inhaler doesn’t even to have anything coming out of it, so it is hard to notice any difference.  The other inhaler (the Albuterol) is easier to know I am inhaling it, but it doesn’t seem to do any good for my breathing.

Any newspaper you buy in this day and age is going to end up being a non-profit decision.
