What a coinkydink! We had pizza at my mom's house today. They were frozen, but we doctored them up and they were so much better than just having the as-sold frozen pizzas.

Now finishing Natalie Haynes’ A Thousand Ships, a female perspective of The Iliad and The Odyssey. I’m surprised at how effective it is. Clytemnestra manages to evoke some sympathy. Penelope is a wonder, an intellectual equal of Ulysses. Hecate, Cassandra, Andromache, Calliope are all given voice.
