Somebody put together a CD of HELLO, DOLLY!, that alterbnated all the Dollies doing different songs in the correct order. There was Carol and Mary and Pearl and Barbra and Phyllis Diller and Ethel and maybe Ann Miller. It was very cool.

I had moments of sleep followed by kitty interruptions as well as the perennial pains in my legs. I had a long dream involving the little turd who sacked me from a project in 1991 because I was caught in the middle of his power struggle to oust the person in charge and take over the project, which he did. He also justified his sacking me for doing second-rate work to one and al, and I didn't work for two years until I read a Fanfare interview with an actor tuirned record producer named Bruce Kimmel, who was crazt enough to hire me for a Liz Callaway project.

That wasn't the dream; that was just the backstory. In this dream, I was working on a recording with a lot of my colleagues from Toyland, and the person in charge was the little turd. I had to play nice and it was killing me.

Well, my unemployment remains a mess. I was told on Sunday, after certifying every damned day last week, that my claim for the week ending 3/28 had finally gone through, so I tried to certify yeaterday for the week ending 4/04. This morning I was told that my last certification was for 3/21. Nothing has stuck. What the hell?

I put away my space heaters and got out my electric fans today.

I rarely use the space heaters, but sometimes in some of the rooms during the winter I can use a degree or two of heat.
