I love the score of that show too much.

I do, too, and the fact that Hershy Kay did the orchestrations makes me consider the show Coleman's Candide.

Yup. From the first notes of the overture.

I think Stephen Colbert is one of the tap-dancing, singing red caps on the train.

I'm up, I'm up - just about eight hours of sleep. Got up at eleven and had lots of e-mails to answer and answer them I did.

Nice day here.  Have accomplished a good walk and an even nicer nap.

DR Jane I am enjoying reading about your trip. I did not realize that your other son was there too.

Thank you.  Since he has also been vaccinated he took time off of work and came to us.  I don't think he will be traveling by plane again in the near future as he ended up in the middle seat on a full flight.  Understandably he felt very uncomfortable..

First she went on the swing and then down the slides.  Keith & Craig took turns lifting her to the top of the slides and sliding her down.  I would go up the steps, then Craig put her in my lap and we slid down to Keith,  not that we really went fast enough to need catching.  All in all she had lots of sliding time.

Once we returned her to Kate we walked downtown and did a bit of shopping and enjoyed a delicious cannelloni.

Part way back to the hotel we left Craig to explore a couple of record shops.

So, last night when one of the cats headed under the blankets, I thought it was Stella, but this morning I'm pretty certain it was Annabelle. I thought it was Stella because she had been sleeping with me and Thatch most of the night, and I wasn't too awake when these early morning activities occurred.

DR Elmore - do the cats ever cuddle together?

Good Afternoon - not much happening this weekend.  Some work, no play, etc.  Glad to see everyone is doing well as well.

Continuing to enjoy DR Jane's reports.  I understand your son's reticence about flying, and I am afraid that is what we will encounter in July.

There is absolutely no way that I would feel comfortable doing this even if I was vaccinated. Hopefully the other passengers were at least considerate.

Thank you.  He flew Southhwest which doesn't have assigned seats and was unfortunately in the last boarding group.  He said his return flight tomorrow is in the second group and he should be able to avoid the middle seat.

He attempted to pay an extra $30 for early boarding and someone beat him to the last upgrade available.

After all the walking today Keith, Craig & I just went back up to the rooftop dining tonight. The view of the city is pretty.

I splurged and had a second Old Fashioned which I split with Craig who originally introduced me to them.  It was one half more than I should have had D
It is a rare treat and will be a long time before I have one again.
