On top of that my nose is dented & raw from the nose guards.  Monday I will see if I can have them replaced with something more comfortable.

I'm still getting used to the nose guards on my new glasses. If I put on the sunglasses, they're so comfortable, I forget they're on. I had to go back to the car tonight after I checked in at the theater because I forgot I was wearing the sunglasses.

Have you tried getting diffetent guards?

Does anyone else get nauseated when wearing new glasses?

Not nauseated.  It takes a couple of days to really get used to them, but I've never had any other problem. :-\

Got another person for the Kritzerland show.

That's good news, though I will miss Kerry.

Ditto, and ditto.

The shows nowadays are without intermission to prevent socializing. But he played two hours, which is long. But it didn't feel it. And his drummer rocked.

I think the upcoming events at the WCPA are also going to be intermissionless.

Most enjoyable evening.

That's pretty cool, John!  I really hope that I get to usher next month!

I just logged into YouTube and I came across the San Jose Civic Light Opera's 1987 production of Follies.  It's the whole show...just one camera from the back of the theater, but it looks pretty good.  And it's not the 1987 London script.  Ben sings "Live, Laugh, Love."

I am very happy to see that BK has fallen for the macabre charms of Balanchine's La Valse. That and the City Ballet's full-length ballet Coppélia are two productions I really want to see live.

The City Ballet's Coppélia - choreographed by Balanchine and one of his ex-wives, the great ballerina Alexandra Danilova - was shown on PBS in 1978. It looks like the complete ballet was shown, but only Act Three is on YouTube.

I will have to watch this whole clip and see if a childhood friend of mine is in the ballet.  He was a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet.  I am not sure if he was still there in 1978, he may have moved on to the Boston Ballet by then, but I don’t think so.

No, he was apparently with the Connecticut Ballet Company in ‘78, where he was busy choreographing his first full ballet..... Coppelia!

I had my first covid shot today. The finally lowered the age to 45 (it was 55). I'm feeling a bit fatigued and headachy. But those were listed as the symptoms for 50% of the people. But I'm otherwise fine. And very happy to have finally become eligible.

I got mine as soon as they lowered the age limit to under 100.

What a day. Fortunately, I watched a brilliant ballet and that made me feel better.

You just logged in and you are already to “Live, Laugh, Love”?  This must be an edited production.

Well, I wanted to see if Ben sang "Live, Laugh, Love" or "Make the Most of Your Music."  This was from 1987, which is also when the revised London production happened, so I jumped to the end to see which version of the script that they used.
