Went to the first party with friends I've attended in more than a year. A friend who used to work for USAA was having a crawfish boil. And man, did they throw a party. He boiled the crawfish, she kept things going with the guests. I was there for more than 6 hours. And I had a great time. I got to see people I haven't seen, except on Zoom meetings, for 13 months or so. And the crawfish were delicious.
While I was there, though, I did get a message from Carol that she had to head back to the hospital. She had a fever and her incision was bleeding. I haven't heard any updates.
