Well, you've read the notes, the notes were bumpin', and now it is time for you to post until the bumpin' cows come home.

As predicted, I was fast asleep at the moon's zenith last night. I believe it was cloudy here, anyway. I'm glad some of you were able to enjoy it.

Yesterday was a most frustrating day, and today from all appearances will be more of the same. I am not happy about this.

Ten days ago my neighbor Ann mailed four bills for me. Two of them have cleared the bank, but the most important two - my rent and health insurance - remain in limbo. I do not know if they are caught in Trump's postmaster general's slow down in the mail, if the PO machinery mangled them, or what the fat hall has happened to them, but I am most aggravated.

Last month my check for health insurance cleared three days after mailing and the rent was right behind it.

I had a solid sleep until four-something in the morning when I woke up from a dream thinking it was already time to get up. Rolled over and got back to sleep okay, but then woke again at six, but I still didn't have to begin getting up till 7:30 or thereabouts. Partly, my back was killing me (it's been time for a new mattress for a long time now). Anyway, I'm up, feeling like something ran over me but drinking the java, and trying to bring back my two (?) dreams, one of which concerned some of the updates over the years in The Fantasticks (at some point in the dream I believed I had a handle on all the changes, until suddenly there was a whole song or maybe something incidental that looked familiar but I was completely unprepared for it) and the other is still trying to break through. Maybe it shouldn't bother. That first one was enough. And that's my morning so far.

We enjoy seeing the moon here whenever it's one of those spectacular ones and the sky is clear. Last night was no exception, except that none of us had the wherewithal to stay up till the peak hour of 11:30, but we made it till 10:30 and it was like the brightest highest-wattage pure white LED-colored light you could imagine.

I'll bet it was really wonderful earlier when it would have been low in the sky, which is when they have the most color and look the largest. I still remember one of the greatest of those showing up over Los Angeles when I just happened to be in a friend's apartment that was high up enough to afford an amazing view of city with the moon over downtown L.A. Actually, I wonder if I still have a photo of that. It'll take forever to find it.

Yesterday, bk was asking for reactions to the Oscar telecast. I didn't watch, but a friend of mine shared this:

Yes it was a lovely SuperMoon last night.  So DR ELMORE should hear something about the property before the end of the week.

I enjoyed rehearsal last night - I saw most of Act One but couldn't hear much between the masks and the LOUD piano.....but I found my script and my entrance was on time.

Some folks were missing last night - some excused absences and others just decided not to come, I guess.

I'm going to make myself some crispy diced hash browns in a little while. I need more of an energetic start to my day, and a large serving of those, with a fried egg sitting on top, are going to be what the doctor ordered.

So don't try to stop me. My mind is made up, damn it.

TOD:

The Wizard of Oz
Meet Me In St. Louis
In The Good Old Summertime
I Could Go On Singing

There are several of her albums I enjoy including Judy at Carnegie Hall, Judy Garland At Home At the Palace, and a CD collection called, I think, JUDY.

I also enjoy watching parts of her television series.

I would consider bumping with Wes later, but I really need to sit down at the keyboard and bump with myself.
