I don't know the answer to either of those questions.

However the sun enters Uranus today - so expect surprises, which I only think is to be expected with such an arrangement.

Earth sign Taurus is the key player in the sun-Uranus conjunction today, bringing a sense of steadiness to what could otherwise be a chaotic but exciting day. Change is at the root of this progressive union, but Taurus is here to remind you to take it slow and easy.

Don’t get us wrong: Today’s conjunction has the potential to be life-altering, but because the sudden changes that it brings can cause nervousness and tension, it’s best to take a patient, common sense approach when possible. You don’t have to let it completely rattle you, but this revolutionary energy definitely calls for you to keep an open mind as you try to navigate the things that will inevitably try to throw you off guard!

Talk about life-altering...my new supervisor, who's only been here for a couple of months, was just fired today! :o

 :o  That was fast.

Do you think he really doesn't know why or just doesn't want to say?

Should I wish you an interesting or boring visit?

Ha - i went to the gasoline station for $15 worth of gasoline.  I hate  to have to guess how much I need since I have to prepay.....so it's not quite full.....price $2.899 per gallon.

Then to Lowe's to get a thing so that I can extend the dryer vent hose......I don't like the thing I bought that vents into the house....it's kinda creepy.

Then to Goodwill where I found a small pewter tray that I needed - right there on the shelf.  I also purchased the Phantom of the Opera complete Broadway recording - I only had the Highlights CD.

And a book.

You did well. We Californians would love to pay $2.899/gal. And the pewter tray sounds nice.

Dryers really should NOT be vented into the house. Lint plus warm air causes mold. Really best to vent outside.

I got the impression that he knew or had an idea of some of it, but wasn't sure if what he was thinking was(were) the only reason(reasons), and I think that he would've told us (confidentially) the real reason(s).

I'd read/heard that just "liking" something on FB doesn't help.  You need to actually post a message, even just a smilie face, to affect the algorithms...but that's just what I've heard.

It is of course April 30 so this is the evening when spirits move up or down depending upon their behavior since October....so they are certainly restless.  They like to look in mirrors and move small objects around to confound you.....today......

??? They'll be active tonight?

The former property manager told me that there were a few (fortunately, just a few) units in our condo complex that originally had dryers venting into the walls!  She also told me that they were fixed, so that's good.  Mine has always vented to the outside, so I never had that kind of problem.

Contractors often vent into walls because it's easier, but it should be against the law.(Not that that would stop some of them.) There was a horrible case in Virginia maybe 20 years ago where a small boy had 5 or 6 surgeries to clear up a medical problem, to no avail. They finally learned that the problem was a dryer vented into a wall cavity. It was a haven for mold, which was causing the problem. Vent was fixed and the child got well.

I am looking forward to the conclusion of THE RESTAURANT.

Sing, I know it's not your all-time favorite, but it's very well written and never drags. And I want to see Gustav's downfall -- if he has one.

Had a bacon and cheese omelet from a jernt I'd never been to - the Blu Jam Cafe, one of these Sherman Oaks trendy places where people will wait for forty-five minutes. I had it delivered, thanks to the second of my ten-dollar off coupons on Postmates. I specifically instructed no potatoes, no toast, just the omelet and even said "thanks!" Upon opening the bag I could smell the potatoes immediately. No toast, so they go that right. The omelet was more like a big pancake, which is not an omelet at all and it was sitting on top of these diced potatoes. So, I extracted the omelet from the box and spent five minutes removing all the potatoes that had stuck to the bottom. The omelet was mediocre and the first I've ever had where the cheese was only on top - all omelets have cheese melted in the middle along with the bacon. This was just kind of gross, actually.

I then went and picked up a package and shockingly no important envelopes - usually one arrives prior to the first. Praying they'll show up tomorrow.

Then I texted with the moving company and their ETA to arrive at the new space is actually at noon o'clock, which is great. They seem very together. I'm still at one helper, but I know he's very organized. And I have another guy on hold, but waiting to hear if he's been vaccinated, which the other fellow and I have been.

And now, thanks to a build-up of Amazon credit over the past year, plus an unused Amazon gift card, I'm now the owner of the Ormandy box set. It just dropped in price by ten bucks, of course, which is annoying and which I might call about, because that's just unfair to those who purchase these things. At the price, these 120 CDs come out to about 2.40 each. And I'm listening to disc one - discs one and two are the earliest recordings in the set - and the sound is amazing for 1944 and 1945. And Ormandy is just the berries, I must say. This is just the tonic I needed in this stressful time and it will make the next two days much easier. And there's lots of repertoire I'm not familiar with, which is also fun.
