It is interesting that, at least on Amazon, the In the Heights DVD is more expensive than the Blu Ray!

Went to my diabetes doctor. Cholesterol is improving. Bad cholesterol is finally going in the right direction. But my A1C crept up. All strange, given changes in diet. Oh well, job stress might have something to do with that.

That's not unusual.  It's been happening with DVD vs. Blu-ray prices for a while...said the library purchaser.

I watched MIRANDA, which I loved, on Hulu, which I hate. The ads! You can subscribe, but after such an unpleasant experience, why would anyone want to? It's after PLEASANT experiences that I give more money, up my subscription status, etc.

This morning I called the surgery center again, as recommended by the nice, helpful nurse a couple days ago. As I suspected, different nurse, different story. "Who told you to do that?" she asked angrily. Now I must call again on Monday, not just for my appointment time, which they don't know yet, but for the details which the scheduler was supposed to provide, but didn't. I'm very glad I had the cataract surgery done at UCLA--not at Cedars.

I'd like to be given a better explanation of how A1C scores are calculated. They sometimes seem a bit wonky to me.

The diet is improving your cholesterol and making your A1C worse, odd but interesting.  Good vibes finding the right combination.  Has your weight changed at all?
