Well, you've read the notes, you know who's at the piano, and now it is time for you to post until the piano playing cows come home.

Well, this is cool...today's Bing Picture of the Day is "The shoreline of Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary, Washington state."

HERE is a link to someone's Bing picture archive, and HERE is a link to the specific picture, once it's no longer available through www.bing.com.

Today at 2:00, I have a Zoom union meeting.  It's scheduled to take an hour and a half, and they've been very good about ending on time.

I did not sleep well, but I suspect my faithful companions did. Stella stopped by around 3:15 ro remind me I needed a bathroom break. When I did sleep, I had very strange dreams about friends dying and strange work locales.

DR Laura, they're pronouncing it Ahn-ry on the local news. When I first heard it, I thought they were calling it Hurricane Ennui.

I finished my Philly Pops work yesterday afternoon, so the only things on my agenda today are to read the colonoscopy papers my doctor's office sent me and lie around with the cats.

I see there is a new Blu Ray/DVD/CD set of John Corigliano's The Ghosts of Versailles - not the MET version.

I believe it's the revised version made after the Met production. I saw a gorgeous production at Manhattan School of Music, and I believe this is the on the new Blu-Ray. It's on my list of DVDs I would like to get.

George, that clip of Judy Kaye and company on the Tonys has and probably always will give me goosebumps. I could hardly wait after the original broadcast for the album to arrive in stores.

Good Lord, is it humid outside the apartment. The basement iand lobby are like a steam room. I have a large and heavy Chewy.com carton of cat food to bring up, but I'm getting my wind.

I Wouldn't be opening windows anyway, today, but I shall take DR Elmore's word for it about the humidity.

I just enjoyed a toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese and a sprinkle of Everything Bagel Seasoning.

I'd also picked up a 4 oz package of smoked nova in case I felt like going all the way with it, but I wasn't hungry enough for that at this point. I have one more bagel and will very likely do that for lunch.

I wrote this badly. What I meant to post is that I believe the new Blu-Ray is using the revised version, not that it's the Manhattan School of Music production.

Another weather site (and app - of course) that someone just pointed me to:

ventusky.com

I liked the look and the animation of this one right off the bat. Might give it a try.

Noted. And I’m curious about the revisions.

When I went on Amazon to look for the new Ghosts of Versailles DVD, it said that it was “by Patti LuPone.” What does that mean?
