I've survived the morning: booked Access-a-Ride for tomorrow at 8:00, finished kitty cleanup, made the bed, took the trash to the basement, and successfully made my trip to Staples and back. I plan to do nothing more but lie in the breeze qith the kitties until dinner time at 3:00. I will now have some cold apple juice since I cannot eat, and I'm starving!

DR John thanks for all the updates on your mother. I do hope all that needs to be done for the house can be done in time. I recall being in the same situation as your sister. I had a flight booked home as was determined to make it, which I barely did.

Just watched Audra singing the same song. Sad comparison. She had a bad accent and overdid it on the emotions. It wasn’t a simple little thing at all.

We don't get flu shots here for months anyways. And covid boosters are not really a thing here yet.

Pharmacies here are already advertising to get your flu shots. Some years the season begins early, others later. To me it seems you get your shots a bit on the late side but I understand the reasoning. Too early and the shot might not protect a person during the worst part of the flu season.

True, however, if I had covid feeling like my allergies are bothering me, that wouldn't have been such a bad thing. It would likely offer more protection than a booster shot, and less of a reaction
